The room was just ok, but not a far walk to the center of town. I really like the beach here. It's a shallow canal with cool fish around the reef. They sell beer at the front desk; that was convenient.
The wifi didn't work job our room. It only worked by the front desk. The door to our room was a sliding glass door with a lock that didn't seem very secure.
We oredered 3 nights and as paid for, but when we made the check out the house keeper didn't let us by saying we pAid only 2 nights. We saw her the papaers but she was concentrated to threat on us !! Ridiculous and disappointing
Couldn't sleep with AC on since it was making a loud noise. You have to walk 300 meters for the breakfast and it is only juice , coffee and 2 toasts with butter and jam.
Overpriced Breakfast is served in a bar far away from the hotel, where the staff is very unfriendly Room is anonymous Booked an excursion the started at 8am, the lady at the desk didn't want to give us the coupon for the breakfast till 7.30 (we didn't understand why) even if the bar was open (and far from the hotel) We stayed there just because the hotel in front was fully booked the first two days, where for 20€ more a day the stay was incredibly different
Location was awesome, clean rooms and cold AC'
Shower only got warm, never hot
The restful atmosphere, hammocks, beautiful courtyard plantings, location, reasonable rates.
The continental breakfast--not appealing at all. We ended up skipping it and going out for breakfast each day.
Convenient to the desirable beach front, reasonable rates, cleanliness.
Good location. Basic room but clean and cold ac.
Small beach which was always crowded.
no coffee in room, kitchens were dirty, breakfast was a block and a half away, no dish soap, no water in room, spout was broken on water jug in kitchen, for the amount of money spent on room the chairs on the beach should have been included, the value for your dollar was very poor
It is a very low key, relaxed place to stay. A great location and staff were helpful when needed.
Though they say they take Visa on the Booking.com site they put up considerable resistance when we tried to use it at checkout-eventually they did accept it.
nice location close to playa norte, best beach in isla mujeres, nice to walk on the sand to go to the breakfast given in a beach bar close by
room are quite old style
Location, quaint bungalows, dated but clean. Garden, sitting area in the shade, beach just beyond. Quiet customers.
Bed linens are coarse, no hot water in the sink and rooms have minimal lighting.
I have stayed many times, we just love the spot, and have got to know the staff, good place good people
this side of the island, is starting to get very busy. and some guests just don't have any respect.
very close to the good beaches of isla
very low value per money!!!
we loved the hammock garden and the beach so close by and the quiet location. safe and ease of snorkeling in front of hotel
We were kept awake all night by the people in the next room being loud and talking, drinking tv left on loud all night. we had to rent lawn chairs on the beach which should be provided to hotel guests. the coffee pot in the common area was not working, would have been nice to have a coffee pot in the room.
The location was very good
No facilities that worth the money
Great location - situated just on the best beach on Isla Mujeres. Really cool garden with a lot of hammocks to chill out.
Only cold water in the shower. Very simply breakfast offer.
Everything was fantastic. We booked online and they were ready for us even though we showed up a few hours before check in. Very friendly people who will help you with any of your needs. Thank you Villa Kiin:)
My only suggestion would be maybe a dash of color in the room.
We liked the location, the place was quiet. A little fridge in the room is definitely a plus.
The beach is not very big and there is no beach club. They do not accept US dollars or credit cards for a payment.
The location on the beach. Possibility to snorkel in front of the hotel. Nice hotel with live music across the street. Special windows in the room to see without being seen - during the day. Nice hot shower.
Simple breakfast, but it was clearly explained from the beginning. No possibility to pay by card. You need pesos. Internet available only in the lobby (free).
The location was good - on the east side of Playa Norte, which is the most visited beach in Isla Mujeres. Also, value for money was probably fair.
The staff was unfriendly most of the time - two women at the front desk were unwelcoming most of our stay, they barely put on a smile during our whole stay (of 5 days)! Furthermore, the A/C was too loud, breakfast was kinda poor (as others mentioned - a toast, butter, jam, coffee and orange juice), and the TV, which was an old 20", had really bad reception and although we asked someone to fix it, she said there is nothing to be done. That being said, we guess that for that price, in that location in Isla Mujeres, that's what you can get. Considering that you spend most of your day on the beach and you only sleep in the room, it's not so bad.
