The Villa was originally twice its current size. Hard times forced the family to sell half of the property and buildings. Over time the building was abandoned, but in 1999 an American artist bought the Villa and meticulously restored it to its former beauty.
In 2004, the premises was converted from a private residence into this comfortable luxury hotel.
Enjoy a variety of Hispanic culinary culture, such as home-style tapas from Mexican, Spanish and Yucatecan origin. Dine in the garden area, dining room, bar or the privacy of your guestroom.
The hotel offers a private chef service, where guests can arrange their own culinary delights. This service requires 24-hour notice.
The hotel is 2 blocks from Parque Centenario, which attracts Merida’s families on weekends to enjoy the park's zoo and train ride. Central zocolo, location of the oldest cathedral in Latin America, is 10 blocks away.
The Casa de Montejo, the Palacio de Gobierno, the Palacio Municipal and the Galeria Macay are minutes away.
