Loved the location- very close to town and has lovely gardens and beach. Room cleaned daily very well and friendly staff. booked the economy bunglalow- wasn't a bungalow at all. It was a room at the back of building attached to reception with an apartment upstairs. Was really dissapointed when we saw it. The girl was adament though that it was a bungalow- all the other rooms were proper bungalows- small houses with a hamock on the porch- they looked fantastic. That was what we thought we were booking.

The place, both the resort itself and the island. The resort staff - generally clueless, not interested, not helpful, not knowledgeable, unable to speak English. Mostly busy on the web, (gaming, music etc) they were positively useless. The nice restaurant was always closed. Cleaning of the room was so-so.

Beautiful garden bungalows on an amazing beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. Recommend bug spray when visiting Holbox. Only complaint was the bed was very hard. We would definitely stay here again.

Bugs bugs bugs! Our beach cabana was in the trees by the road, not the beach. The beach is not not. Slim slim slim. You cant lie out. Mosquitos will eat you alive. Biggest toughest nugs ever! Eco? Maybe. Manager not friendly. We felt like we were intruders. The ad says bikes to use but they were never there. We couldnt wait to leave. Have stayed much nicer for much cheaper.

gorgous palapa, very nice and friendly staff, beach excellent and many interesting animals (flamingos, crabs, fish, other birds etc.). would recommend this place to everybody.

One of the nicer beach resorts (compared with the other hotels) regarding location and garden / beach "design" Bungalow is pretty obscure inside and shows its years (appliances worn down, etc)

Villa Los Mapaches e' un'oasi di pace e tranquillita' prima o dopo un tour de force in giro per il messico. Holbox non ha molto ma l'atmosfera vi conquistera'. L'hotel ha solo poche camere e sdraio e ombrellone gratuiti a disposizione, cosi' come due Kayak. La vicinanza al centro ne fa un posto ideale soprattutto rispetto al rapporto qualita' prezzo. Non ha un ristorante dove poter far colozione o cenare ma accanto c'e' uno splendido chioschetto gestito da un italiano che vi sorprendera' per la qualita' del cibo e la cortesia.
