Score from 30 reviews Good
The hotel is in a quit location, our room was spacious. The bungalows are located in a beautiful tropical garden. The breakfast buffet offered a lot of choice like local specialties, large fruit selection and "international standard* items. Nice porch with a hammock and chairs for each room.
Room on ground floor had the firs 2 days a wet unpleasent smell. It was relatively dark especially as curtains were missing. Don't forget your moskito repellent. No WiFi in the rooms, only limited to reception, pool and restaurant.
no wifi in the room
the layout of the hotel landscaping
beach in front of the hotel
Lovely place to stay. Most Staff superb, especially in reception. A couple of the men at bar were lacking in decent customer service, sort of grumpy. Rooms beautiful. Outlook Devine
the advertising made it sound much better than it was, specially when it came to the views.
great location, pool and atmosphere
-the seaweed on the beach in front of the hotel has accumulated substantially - a series of nails on the reception chair caused a rip in my shorts and hotel staff did nothing to try to accomodate the fact that I would incur a substantial charge to get this fixed. very disappointing.
Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel - everything was just perfect
nothing at all
Rooms very dark, poor ventilation, long waits for taxis to town
Beautiful grounds and pool. Lovely beach. Good service and food.
They wouldn't accept American Express travellers cheques in payment. Our room was in a work zone, noisy, and smelled of sewer gas. They did, however switch our room later.
Nice bungalows, clean and comfortable rooms. ask for more room towels from very beginning. No sense to book all inclusive. Many options for lunch and dinner nearby.
Be aware - mosquito !!!
Very clean and helpful staff; beautiful beach location and easy walk to town. Our room was immaculate and very pretty.
Mosquitoes were unbearable. We were happy that we selected only the breakfast option as dinner, in particular, is not great and lunch is leftovers of dinner. It would be great to see them prepare more traditional and regional options rather than attempting Italian etc. There are several fantastic restaurants in town including Chapulin and Zapato's with great fish dishes, as well as Los Peleones.
The atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful. Even in high season, there is no wait at the buffet and enough recliners on the beach. The public spaces are esthetically very pleasing and the staff is gracious and attentive.
The rooms are rather rustic, which some people might not like. On the third floor, our room was very spacious but would benefit from a larger closet and a dresser. The bathroom was so cramped it could not accommodate a mirror over the washbasin. Finally do not forget mosquito repellent- there are legions!
location is close to town
Room is dark, service is average
Rooms were very nice, tasteful decor Location, great swimming area, easy to walk everywhere, close to town
Buffet service only for meals. Breakfast was ok, but lunch and dinner very uninspiring for $270 pesos per person. During certain hours you could alao order fod at the bar, but offered nothing healthy. Plus that ser ice closed at 6, so with small kids it was difficult. Plus, although the rooms are nice, they put us with a baby and 2 other small kids in a 2 story walk up. It was OK, but made extra work.
