The staff really tried to please. Had a couple maintenance problems but they were fixed immediately. They had a nice workout facility that was clean. My husband enjoyed the 10 dives he had!
The resort is located a ong ways from town so had to take a cab to go anywhere.There were only 2 restaurants where you ordered off a menu. The food at both was very good but the menu stayed the same each night so for a person who doesn't eat red meat it got boring. One had chicken breast the other only dark chicken.
Proximity to the ocean. Our room was with ocean view that helped us to forget about everything else.
Food. Absolutely the worse all inclusive experience. Luckily we were able to buy ice cream, fruits, meat at Mega store in Cozumel.
the staff and food were great. we are used to the beautiful beaches on the mayan Riviera so the beach was nice but rocky on entry
our first room in the 200 building had cockroaches and smelled like sewer every time you flushed the toilet or ran water in the sink or tub. we were moved to a lovely suite but we had rain twice and the patio doors leaked flooding the floor. I don't know if they are letting this property run down so the time share salespeople can push the adjacent property or quite what is going on. one last thing tell the time share salesmen to back off Los Cabos is bad enough.
The food could be better!
No wandering trinket sellers on the beach. Dress code was casual and you could eat at any of the options without formal dress.
Staff was was very nice...we left our safe open one day. The maid called security immediately..all was good.
Paying for WiFi, every device separately..$40 for the week. No swim up bar.
The location on San Francisco Beach. The staff was willing to help. The rooms had the potential to be very nice with terraces with jetted tubs and the room was spacious. The breakfast was tasty with a good variety of foods.
The main thing was the musty smell of the room was overwhelming even with the air conditioners running.It even kept me up @ night. The smell hits you as soon as the door is opened. Maybe keeping the AC units on low when unoccupied would help instead of turning them off between guests. The dinner was unappetizing. Warm food was cool. Many of the buffet dishes were almost empty. The food was bland...yes even in Mexico.

The staff that tried to get you to purchase a time share once you told them you could not afford 500 dollars a month for 30 years of you life Jason was very rude.

There is no free wifi
Beach Bar, Food was good, location for snorkling was good. No need to go on an trip to a reef. The reef is just beyond the ropes. All the staff was courteous and very helpful and nice. Bed was very comfortable.AC --cold. Cold beer and good mix drinks.
The main restaurant was closed off to the secrets resort. I have been here about 17 years in a row and this is the first time it was closed off. The mexican restaurant had a too long of a waiting line. Not enough chairs on the beach. Need to put the volleyball net back where it was and put more chairs on the beach in the same place of the volleyball court like it used to be. The vacation club sucks. This resort was much better years ago before they built the new building they call Secrets. The only difference is they have a little fancier rooms and a little pool river that goes around other than that the people from Secrets would come over to the regular side. They should have to stay on their side if we can't go over there. The new look of the resort is not up to par as it was in years past,
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to know your name and make sure you had everything you wanted with in reason.
The off the menu portions at supper were on the small side. There should be some sort of lift for disabled persons to reach Secrets spa.
Staff was friendly. Room was clean and relatively well appointed. Plenty of clean towels for the pool and beach. Main pool was nice. Beach chairs were pretty good. Beach was great.
When we first arrived, we were immediately hounded by sales people to find out about their new resort next door. It was pretty high pressure, annoying, and a little relentless. Also, the dining was always understaffed for at least one of the restaurants on any given day. I would describe the food as "Mexateria". The entire operation seemed to consist of poorly managed hard working staff. There was noticeable trash on the grounds and a horrible sewer smell across from the kids play area. Poor internet service available only in the lobby. Wifi would frequently crash due to the sheer numbers of users trying to get on the internet. No waitstaff service on the beach or pool. Would not recommend.
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Please do not offer this hotel any longer. There is no running water, no sheets on the bed, there was so much mold that they tried to cover with bleach that my girlfriend as well as every other guest I stayed with got incredibly sick. I am in the process of talking to the corporate office who owns the hotel ( not a resort ) to get my money back for the plane ticket and the hotel. When I complained about the hotel I was yelled at and told " well you already paid us so it is your fault for picking this hotel " . Also when the best food that is offered to you is a hot dog .. There is something wrong . Please help to remedy this for me and my girlfriend. I use your company to book all my trips and I would hate for this to ruin the trust I have in booking.com
