Bel Air Collection Resort & Spa XpuHa Riviera Maya  

While the Costa Maya has a lot of huge hotels and resorts that are the same everywhere, Bel Air is very special and is an excellent mix between real confort and facilities ( the pool is huge ) and nature. The rooms are gorgeous ( with a jacuzzi) the terrasses are huge and give you the feeling of living in the nature.The hotel provides kayak to explore the mangrove and watch the birds.Excellent location to visit Akumal,Xcaret,Xcel Ha, Coba and Tulum.

The continental breakfast is definitely too basic

the hotel is beautiful but very noisy in the swimming pool. the beach isn't good, it has rubbish and the water is dirty near the bank.

the hotel is really expensive, you have to pay many things when you are there. Even the breakfast, that was included in the booking, was charged something like 40 $ !!! and the dinner, a simple buffet with no other choices, was about 100 $ !!! moreover, you have to give tips many times for everything you do! when we arrived they said that room wasn't ready and they drove us to the restaurant to wait (but there we were obliged to consume!!!). when we finally get to our room, there was a lot of water on the floor (it rained the night before). So we understood that it wasn't true that the room wasn't ready, it was an excuse to let us consume at the restaurant! and we saw doing this farce with all the other guests!

El hotel se encuentra en medio de una selva tropical pero no posee playa. Las habitaciones son cómodas y cuentan con un yacuzi muy amplio. Es un lugar ideal para ir a descansar. El predio es muy grande, dentro del mismo hay una especie de lago (ojo de mar) donde se puede aprender a andar en kayaks, hacer snorkel, etc. El personal es muy atento. Hay amplias piscinas pero solo de 1,20 metros de profundidad. El hotel cuenta con pocas habitaciones para lo que es el predio, por lo cual es muy tranquilo. Ideal para caminar, andar en bicicleta y estar en contacto con la naturaleza.

Como el hotel es muy grande, sugiero que soliciten un mapa al registrarse en el hotel. Hay un servicio de transporte que pasa constantemente por los caminos del hotel, pero a veces se demora, por lo cual sugiero que si están apurados soliciten por teléfono el transporte y los llevan al sector que deseen. El hotel posee solo unos metros de acceso al mar, pero no se puede nadar porque son rocas. El desayuno continental es muy pobre. Conviene directamente tomarse un café en la habitación. El hotel no cuenta con servicios de traslado al aeropuerto ni ningún otro lugar, pero está ubicado sobre la autopista y se puede ir en colectivo a cualquier parte.

En plena nturaleza, con manglares para poder bucear, las habitaciones amplias y muy confortables, el servicio del hotel bueno, desayuno continental muy pobre y con poco servicio para atender el desayuno. No tiene playa, aunque a escasos metros hay una buena playa, tiene buenas instalaciones de piscinas
