Yoga Shala Tulum

Such a great surrounding. Nice people, wonderful yoga. Simple and comfortable rooms, and overall so relaxing!

Restaurant not inviting Pull strings on fan should be longer

The staff were friendly and knowledgable. The rooms were clean and bed was sooo comfortable. I went with a few girlfriends for a weekend escape to the beach and for yoga. classes were generally good. If you take any class, take Richelle's. Its instructors like her who nurture and challenge, exactly the way yoga is supposed to be. An such a beautiful space to practice in!

The adjacent bliss cafe has a great selection of healthy choices and the food was generally good. But don't go there is you are in a hurry- for a class or excursion, the staff gets quite flustered under pressure... The male "supervisor" especially. Bring your own mat as well, many are well worn and smelly!

I like the athmosphere inside, really good

The rooms does not have windows so when the weather is cold there is no way to warm the room, I really encourage to put some windows in case the weather is not hot , also the recepcionist was very arrogant and not kind

Beautiful room rising above the jungle canopy. Beds suspended by ropes from the ceiling. Economical compared to other nearby accommodations. Lots of yoga classes available.

This is a minor criticism for me, but there's little or no hot water from the taps and shower. But I didn't mind this terribly much.

The relaxed vibe, the friendly staff, the design and build of the facility using indigenous materials.

Beds were to short for european traveller, ventilator (!) too loud. No facilities and every Costs a Fortune. As everything I. Tulum beach so yoga shala is no different than the other. A cancallation policy of 7 days sucks.

I loved the location and staff at the Yoga Shala Tulum. It was an extremely pleasant stay and a total steal for the money. I would recommend this to anyone, whether you're traveling alone or with others. A great place for the price, location and staff.

We checked into the hotel with our child. The manager did not acknowledge us at all, just sat on the phone. Her partner finally discovered us waiting there and assisted us with check in. After our first nights stay we were asked to leave. This upset me quite a lot. They were asking us to leave because of our child. They said there were not children allowed. I was not aware of this fact until after being told. The pregnant manager woman then tells me that my child cried too loud and all the guests complained. She then told me that my child left a banana peel on the stairs creating a safety hazard. I went to the other guests to ask about the complaining. They were all together hanging out when I approached them about the complaints. They told me that they did not complain and that they all have children and had no problems with them. The manager then called the police because I was very upset. The police were very understanding of my situation. This was an extremely stressful situation for me. It was a ver busy time in Tulum and there were no other vacancies on the beach. If there were not children allowed they should have made that clear before check in.

We love this place. Everyone is super friendly. Facilities and rooms are very clean. The small restaurant has great salads, sandwiches, and juices. Lovely location by the beach. Awesome yoga classes and instructors. If we ever find ourselves in Tulum again we will be staying at Yoga Shala again.

The hotel itself is beautiful, just next to the sea. The rooms are very well equipped, we were staying in one with hanging beds, which was a lot of fun. They have yoga classes every day.

The water coming from the tap is a bit salty.

It was a lovely place, lovely experience, and look forward to returning

La literie.

L'eau de recyclage pour se laver ne sent pas bon. Peu de lumière et même de luminosité naturelle dans les chambres.

bien atendidos, nos dirigieron al hotel situado en frente, en la playa para los servicios de comidas y camastros en la playa. limpio y comodo.

Un poco apartado de la zona de tiendas , bares i restaurantes, frente a otros hoteles de cabañas.

Bra yogapass och trevlig personal. Ligger bra även och det ligger på "the jungle side".

Väldigt lyhört och ingen dörr till toaletten.

Je suis restée 6 nuits au Yoga Shala. J'avais la chambre numéro 7 à l'étage qui avait une vue sur la nature...très agréable! Salle de bain commune très bien. Toujours de l'eau chaude ;) Le personnel est très accueillant. L'hôtel est juste de l'autre côté de la rue, ça prend seulement 1 minute se rendre à la plage. Nous y avons accès par l'hôtel Ahau Tulum. Le site est enchanteur et la plage est superbe!! Il y a des hamacs et des matelas que nous pouvons utiliser gratuitement! éTant une débutante pour le yoga, j'ai pris seulement un cours que j'ai beaucoup apprécié! La professeure prenait le temps de m'expliquer. Bref, tout le monde a sa place dans ce petit hôtel zen. Je le recommande!

Direkt am Strand, gute Yogakurse, riesiges Bett (allerdings ist damit dann auch schon das gesamte Zimmer ausgefüllt;)

Die Beschreibung der Zimmer stimmte leider nicht mit den Tatsachen überein, die Zimmer sind mini ... das Bad nur 1 m2 und nicht sauber. Für das angebot war der preis aus meiner sicht viel zu hoch. Hatten nur 2 tage dort gebucht und sind dann umgezogen-in das hotel la conchita. Hat nur 10 eur mehr gekostet - dafür aber mit tollem frühstück, schöner strandhütte+alles sauber;-))

oft keiner an der Rezeption, zu wenig Abstellraum in Zimmer, müssen mehr Haken oder Kleiderstangen angebracht werden

Es bastante tranquilo y aunque no está en la playa y no veas el mar, con tan solo cruzar una carretera,llegas en dos minutos. La cama es muy cómoda y duermes muy bien,sin ruidos. La playa es de arena blanca y aguas turquesas pero grandes olas. El vigilante de noche,Samuel, un encanto de persona.Muy servicial y atento.

Muy caro para las comodidades que ofrecen.La habitación individual de la planta baja en la que me hospedé, era muy pequeña,no tenía ni una silla para sentarme y es que no cabía. A los dueños ni se les ve ni se les espera.Sólo aparecen al final del día y eso que estaban en temporada alta.Navidades del 2012-13.Estaba toda Tulum abarrotada, al 100% Yo creía que esta parte de la Riviera Maya era más tranquila ,pero sin llegar ser tan agobiante como Playa del Carmen o Cancún, había mucho turista. Y es que parece ser que está de moda, pagar precios astronómicos por un hospedaje sin confort alguno,sin servicios, pero eso sí,muy ecológico. Yo he pagado 110 dolares americanos la noche, en una mini choza,sin espacio,sin armarios,sin mesa o silla alguna que la verdad, me parece muy caro.Pero era temporada alta y los precios se disparan. El mar estuvo los diez días muy fuerte.Con olas grandes.No es la calita de aguas turquesas y tranquilas típica del Caribe.

Le prix un peu excessif car les salles de bain sont communes et vous n êtes pas directement sur la plage,alors que d autres hotels pratiquent le même prix avec salle de bain privée et pied dans l eau; Dans la description sur Booking vous décrivez les chambres spacieuses ce qui est faux et vous parlez de ventilateurs au plafond faux également j ai visité toutes les chambres il y en a certaines qui ont un ventilateur d appoint au sol.
