the staff were very helpful and the price was very reasonable for such a nice hotel 1. There was (seemingly) a lack of no-smkoing rooms available. our room smelled of cigarettes when we checked in. In addition, I would say that the smell had disappeared by the following morning. 2. Paying a deposit was annoying as one doesn't need 200MYR back on check-out as it just gets wasted in the airport. Given that we gave our credit card details when we booked it I think this is sufficient cover for any damages or whatever |

The location is great. This was the first time I went to Penang, and we got a grand sea view rooms. And to our surprise that the hotel is just besides the major heritage sites of George Town. |

Good room - upgrade given. Helpfull staff. Very good location for exploring Georgetown. Poor breakfast - not a good selection. Also U16 sports tour staying at hotel which made pool unusable when 60+ 15 year olds decended on it unsupervised! |

very spacial room they upgrade me to the 14/F which is non-smoking floor ; breakfast is ok; neat design; small outdoor swimming pool though but no many people in early morning around 8-9am. I saw a few small cockroaches in my room which is a bit aweful!!! other than that its fine. Its a bit of walk (10 mins) to Komtat (the bus terminal) if you want to take rapid bus to travel around. Otherwise taxi is MYR 10 from hotel to Komtar. |

The Bayview was a comfortable air conditioned retreat from a very hot and humid Penang. The daily breakfast was very good. Our room was large with a lovely view over the city and bay. It is very minor but we twice ran out of toilet paper in our room during our stay and had to request additional rolls from housekeeping. |

The price and location were good. There was a pool and a nice view over the water - though you may have to ask for this. The staff were really friendly. The complimentary newspaper was a nice touch. Having to pay four times the local internet cafe rate to use their internet facilities. In such a hotel these should be complementary. The room itself could have been cleaner - the window frames, for example were dusty - this could be because the floor I was on had recently been renovated. The buffet breakfast was dull. |

comfortable bath room with isolated shower area. Great view to the sea. Front desk do not ask for the customer request on bed type(single/double). Elevator is not easy accessible, located at corner area, not at centre area of the floor. |

breakfast is ok, room is big Parking is not convenience, each time has to go 1 big round when reach the hotel. If you are first time at the entrance, you will find it there is not parking, if have to got down and check with the reception where is the parking. Then you will have to go 1 more round. |
