everything!! i couldnt fault this hotel in anyway whatsoever. location, staff, food entertainment everything was first class the only thing i would warn about is that drinks are a bit pricey after happy hour. coffee etc a bit dear but lunch and dinner packages good value |

The best part is its location. Within walking distance of good local food and historical sites. The staff were really helpful and gave good ideas on where to go. The rooms were clean enough and the amenities decent. |

The location great. The hotel is conveniently located near the heritage walking trail and the tourist sights. My room has a good view of the Penang bridge and the sea. Rooms are surprisingly huge. The check-in was slow. We specifically requested for early check in at 12.30pm. However, we reached the hotel at 1pm and was informed that our room was still not ready till 2pm. |

The check in staff is nopt well trained. Requested a non smoking room and paid exta for the selction..Deluxe versus Superior, The staff still try to give us smoking room, after my persistance, upgrade to junior suite but not much of any suite. The corridor although open air design, still smells and fleas in the carpet, |

Although advertised, smoking rooms were very smelly. A lingering smell remained on bed linen made it very uncomfortable to sleep. Despite the impressive lobby and excellent rooftop restaurant, the rest of the hotel could do with a lick of paint and a general freshening up. I was disappointed to see one or two hairs lying in the bathroom when I checked in, not what I expect from any hotel let alone one with 4 stars. Concierge organised my transfer but the member of staff failed to give me a receipt for my coach trip to kl. On the whole the hotel is good value for a short time stop-over but I would warn against having an extended stay there. Certainly closer to a three star than a four. |
