The pillarless Berjaya Ballroom is divisible into 3 separate function rooms, with the capacity to accommodate a maximum of 900 people for theatre seating and 1,500 people for cocktail reception.
In addition, Berjaya Georgetown Hotel has 6 individual meeting rooms that cater for smaller meeting set-up requirements. These meeting rooms can accommodate groups of 25 to 100 people based on theatre-style arrangements.
The Business Centre opens daily from 08:00-19:00. Facilities include personal computers, internet access and full secretarial services.
All day dining is available at The Café, a 24-hour coffee-house which offers a variety of scrumptious à la carte menu and a mix of international and local favourites.
The cosy ambiance of The Bar at Level 2 makes it a nice place to unwind. Enjoy its selection of drinks while being entertained by the resident band in the evening.

It was close to the Gurney drive hawker center. one of the worst hotels I have stayed at in a long time. everything was old and not well maintained, the shower wasn't hot enough, air con wasn't cold enough, hair dryer didn't work, etc. and to top it all, the hotel charged me 25 myr more than the quoted rate on this site. I didn't bother to argue because I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. |

We were upgraded to a suite but found it poorly equipped for a suite. We asked for a kettle 3 times but it never came. Poor upkeep; curtain liner filthy |

checking out evrything, went in with no aircond, out of service. No tootobrush or toothpaste...very smelly, and the receptionist is not friendly at all. |

I liked the fact that the staff were very friendly, always ready to assist the guests, and they smiled a lot which seemed to make the assistance genuine. The only little thing I would mention is they only had two people working at the reception and cashier's desk. It took forever to check out, at least 20 minutes. |

The view from the hotel is beautiful The bar tender is rude and the atmosphere of the bar is really terrible. The cafeteria staff was very unfriendly where most of them don't even care whether the table is dirty or not. |

Hotel is close to the street hawker strip at Gurney Drive. It is close to the new Plaza Gurney which is one of the newest and nicest malls in Penang. There is a 24hr 7-11 just below the hotel for those late night cravings. Buffet breakfast was reasonable but basic. The Hotel was old and not maintained well. Bathrooms were quite run down and with moldy grout. Our faucet handles kept falling off and the toilet flush ran continuously. Initially the room safe was not working - but a quick call to the front desk fixed it. After the first night of stay, room service forgot to provide a floor mat/towel. I'd rate it more like a 3 star. |

The place is very convenient for Gurney Drive location. Midway Shopping Center is pretty run down. The breakfast is great although the "Chinese Noodle soup could do with some improvement - it is tasteless. |

Strategic location at Pulau Tikus and near all the tourist spots No hand towel and sleepers. Even with cost saving, still need to supply hand towel in every room and sleeper upon request from housekeeping |

The efficiency in handling reservation. Reception was excellence Went to the breakfast buffet, I realised that the food had turned bad. I notified the staff on that but they didnt take action on it. The food just left there to serve other customers which is very disappointing. |

As it was Thaipusam, and we were vegetarians, the breakfast buffet was excellent! The towels were not changed and the condition of the rooms not too good. The ceiling was leaking. |
