“Net een echt kasteel, heel apart gedaan. 's morgens zie en hoor je de apen. Je zit midden in de natuur, erg mooi. Het is vanaf de hoofdweg zo'n 10km nog omhoog alvorens bij het hotel te zijn. Ontbijt vrij simpel. Familiekamer erg groot en de kinderen hebben een boven een aparte kamer. Zijn er maar 1 nacht geweest, doorreis naar hotel Kampar vlak bij Ipoh(erg goed!) , kwamen laat aan dus veel over de hele omgeving kunnen we niet zeggen.”

Het Colmar Tropicale - Berjaya Hills ligt op 20 minuten rijden van de warmwaterbronnen van Bentong en heeft gratis parkeergelegenheid. Het bevindt zich op 55 km van het stadscentrum van Kuala Lumpur en op 120 km van de internationale luchthaven van Kuala Lumpur. De kamers van het Colmar Tropicale - Berjaya Hills liggen midden in de regenwouden en zijn mooi ingericht met klassieke lichthouten meubels en bloemmotieven. Ze zijn voorzien van airconditioning, een televisie en hebben een aangrenzende privébadkamer met een ligbad. De bekroonde spa Tatami biedt ontspannende massagetherapieën. Zijn er maar 1 nacht geweest, doorreis naar hotel Kampar vlak bij Ipoh(erg goed!) , kwamen laat aan dus veel over de hele omgeving kunnen we niet zeggen. toiletkapot bij binnenkomst, oranje water uit de leiding, goed doorspoelen daarna goed. Prijs iets te hoog, beslist geen 5 ster.

My suite No. 1106, was perfectly sized. The view was great. I'm with the wife and 2 kids (3 and 1yrs.) They enjoyed the sights most as from a "fairy tale" point of view, I guess. The "Pinoy" trio entertainers were absolutely brilliant ! Very professional. No tooth-brush, no hair-dryer, not enough towels. The prices at your outlets have to be revised.....way,...way too expensive for local tourists. Perhaps you could have local coffee and tea too and do away with those fancy lattes and I do realise your "French" theme but hey, you're in Malaysia, not France. Keep the prices Malaysian. Notice there is no ATM's or Western Union booths. With your current "euro" prices....I certainly needed one. And this is NOT a complain.....just my 2cents, i.e. if you're listening to improve.

The major attraction is the buildings architectural design which resembles the actual French village, thus we are able to experience them locally which is more value for money.

My shower screen together with the metal holder fell off. Luckily, no one was injured. I called the reception and complained about it. The only thing she could reply, 'no lah it is not dangerous.' That is rude, impolite and does not solve any issue!! I will never stay at colmar again!!

Nice place for honeymoon and couple to relax and enjoy. Food choice is very bad only 4 to 5 restaurant all the same type of food. There is no bank at the area.

The cooling mountains greenery environment. I had a disappointment experience. They checked me in at the tiny room at the top of the stairs with two single beds as which I requested a King/queen size bed. Upon complaining, they showed me to the room which already had guests checked in. After that they upgraded me to a a run down so call suite which a lot of maintainence to be done with falling cabinet doors. I would say 3 out of 10. The hotel is over priced

Ambience of hotel and surrounding. Few choices of restaurants for dining- in and pedestrian walkway between blocks very suitable for children. Also there's a choice to visit the animal farm and Japanese garden by a free shuttle service. Restaurants does not serve good food / service (plastic cups and cutleries in italian restaurant) despite being premium priced. Bathroom is old and no variety for breakfast

Hotel staff are friendly. Room is clean and everything functional. Nicely cosy ambience in the hotel surroundings. Attractions around the area are quite limited in Berjaya Hills. The prices in the restaurants are on the high side.

The location is fantastic. I would be visiting the place again. The view is facinating and marvelous. The location and place is exotic, however the internal is looks like more to an apartment rather than a hotel. It would be good if the internal has a hotel room looks rather than Apartment kind of looks .

The one bedroom suite is very spacious and suitable for big family. Arrangement of the suite is perfect. The price is very reasonable in term of how spacious the suite is, Relaxing is one of the suitable word to describe Colmar Tropicale - Berjaya Hills.

The whole resort was fantastic! The kids loved the arcades as well as the freedom to run on the streets within the castlegrounds because there are no vehicles allowed inside. The shops were just enough. The eateries and the bakery was perfect. The clown was a bonus. The performances arranged were ingenious.The rabbit farm was fun. The free rides to the attractions were thoughtful. It is a perfect resort. What else does a person need to feel like Royalty? On second thought....a marching band and guard line up would be the cream on the already fabulous cake. Thanks Berjaya!!

The view of the surrounding area. The cleaness of the resort and the surrounding areas. The nature/wildlife. I booked a deluxe single 2 bed room. I did not receive. The shower did not have a shower head on it. When asking for a blow dryer twice I never did recieve it. Upon clean up of the repair to the shower head clean towels were brought but, no bath mat. Didnt want to ask for fear of not receiving.

Location and theme Staff service! Called 4 times for a hair dryer n finally got an answer they have limited n need 2 wait for another hour. They had 4 staffs at d counter but check out took 30 mins n handled by only 1 of them!!

Service very bad and slow. Need 2 hours to get the Hotel room. Room condition not very good. Very old and not well maintence. Suitable for Family or Group of friend but not young couple. Especially for Romance and honeymoon.

Location of the hotel is quite nice, surrounded by lush green hills of Bukit Tinggi. It can get quite cold at night, so be prepared with a light sweater if you plan to walk around at night (although there is nothing much to see anyway). Breakfast buffet selection is not too bad. Everything here is over-priced, so be prepared to feel cheated once you are up there. Checking in & out takes forever, so get ready to test your patience. I had to stand for more than half an hour in front of the reception, and no apology whatsoever from the staffs on their inferior service. To add to the misery, towels were only delivered to the hotel room after 7 pm, 3 hours after we checked in & after 3 phone calls to the housekeeping. I definitely did not expect this kind of treatment from a 4-star hotel. Luckily we only stayed there for 1 night. I couldn't wait to leave the next day!
