Het Colmar Tropicale - Berjaya Hills biedt een uniek verblijf in een middeleeuws, Frans dorp. Dit 4 sterrencomplex beschikt over onder andere een buitenzwembad, een bekroonde spa en een tennisbanen. Verder biedt het kamers met een Frans thema en 9 eetgelegenheden. Het Colmar Tropicale - Berjaya Hills ligt op 30 minuten rijden van de warmwaterbron Bentong. Het complex beschikt over gratis parkeergelegenheid. Het stadscentrum en de internationale luchthaven van Kuala Lumpur bevinden zich op minder dan een uur rijden. De van airconditioning voorziene kamers van het Colmar Tropicale - Berjaya Hills worden omgeven door regenwouden. Ontbijt vrij simpel. Familiekamer erg groot en de kinderen hebben een boven een aparte kamer. Zijn er maar 1 nacht geweest, doorreis naar hotel Kampar vlak bij Ipoh(erg goed!) , kwamen laat aan dus veel over de hele omgeving kunnen we niet zeggen. toiletkapot bij binnenkomst, oranje water uit de leiding, goed doorspoelen daarna goed. Prijs iets te hoog, beslist geen 5 ster.

Wow!! When I read all d reviews from others i'm kind of affected.. So the plan of staying there for 3days 2nights were shorten to 2days 1nights.. The review were quite disturbing for us whom never tried this place.. But I was really dissappointed as this place was great!! Kind of regret shortening the stay there.. The view was really great.. The room weren't that big but was just nice for both of us.. Very romantic n cosy.. Love it.. They didnt take too long when I requested for an iron to be delivered to my room.. Too bad its only a night.. Cos the scenery is really Beautiful.. Dun listen to others.. Come here and judge yourself.. We're there on the 9th October 2011.. Saw that some renovation was being done.. Hope they're upgrading sme rooms.. We will be coming back here for sure!! Cant get enough of this place.. Nice for people who wanna relax, escape from the pollution of the city, romantic for couples.. Overall I enjoy my stay there... We'll be back... Thanks Colmar Tropicale.. Its my best ever trip with my love one...

everything is very bad, very slow check in, very slow room service, you have to wait hours to change a dirty bed sheet or a pillow. dirty furniture and dirty corridors. when I was in the resturant to have my breakfast the cups were very dirty and the food in the buffet were not covered. when I paid for the shuttle to Kuala Lumpur the driver shouted me to go to the next bus while there are free seats. the hotel in general is the worst hotel I have ever been and does not deserve the money I paid for, boring hotel and in isolated location and far from Genting. I don't recommand it.

Sorry, cant find the slightest positives. Maybe the night show esp the chinese girls acrobats (the girls were truly amazing)......... Few yrs ago I was at colmar and it was satisfactory (not optimal though), and I would have thought after few yrs, the place can only get better! I was wrong! So wrong....i arrived on Thursday (9.6.11) at approximately 5.00 pm and was told I cant yet check in as the room has not been housekept (although it was stated in the booking confirmation that check in time is 3pm). I waited almost 45 minutes before being allowed to check in. I casually ask for at least a complimentary drink as a result of extreme poor mangement and was shrug off as though I was making some insane demand. Our dismay continued when we checked into the room. The stench was erroneous and the toilet was in really bad shape. Nonetheless, that was all my wife"s and my comfort. The kids were looking forward to the swimming pool and after some simple survey, I advise the kids not jump into the pool as the water condition was unbecoming. I suspect the chroline level was not safe for long period of swim and we thought we were initially at a river side judging from the attire of all those who patronise the pool. We end up spending a fortune at the arcade as the kids were told not to go into the pool (we, as parents have to compensate, not Berjaya or Colmar if you prefer!!) then it was time for dinner and we were scouting high and low a restaurant where there are empty seats, and we thought wow business must be really good until eventually finding out that there weren't enought people working at these busy restaurants and poor guys who filled up the rstaurants must have been waiting for their food and drinks forever. We end up having buffet (not our initial choice) as the thought of waiting and our hunger pranks may not be at all permissible. We checked out the very next day instead of two nights which we have booked initially!!! And I have made a very concious decision of not returning.

Location of the hotel is quite nice, surrounded by lush green hills of Bukit Tinggi. It can get quite cold at night, so be prepared with a light sweater if you plan to walk around at night (although there is nothing much to see anyway). Breakfast buffet selection is not too bad. Everything here is over-priced, so be prepared to feel cheated once you are up there. Checking in & out takes forever, so get ready to test your patience. I had to stand for more than half an hour in front of the reception, and no apology whatsoever from the staffs on their inferior service. To add to the misery, towels were only delivered to the hotel room after 7 pm, 3 hours after we checked in & after 3 phone calls to the housekeeping. I definitely did not expect this kind of treatment from a 4-star hotel. Luckily we only stayed there for 1 night. I couldn't wait to leave the next day!

The ambiance but definately not the room. The room is dirty. We foung a old dirty hair band under the side table. The shower curtain stink. Not up to my expectation. The smeel of the room is teribble and the all of the drawers including at the kitchen.....yatchhhh..! disgusting... OUtside of the room is dirty too. LUcky we just book for one night. Dont like the hotel at all.

The reviews that i'have read is not encouraging,but we really enjoyed our stay at colmar.the family rooms are spacious and clean.buffet breakfast good with many choices. The only setback is no ram for stroller and wheelchair.the cool climate in the morning is good for morning walk.

The location is too far. I took about 5 hrs + to reach the place from penang. Moreover, the roadsign is not clear to direct us to Bukit Tinggi. I make reservation for a baby cot when booking but upon arrival they told me that the baby cot was finished! Until 9pm only I received a small matress and cover, which they called as 'baby cot'. I don't think I will visit there again in future, unless there is a special reason.

The horse riding activity. The hotel was not well maintain. There was stain on the blanket. There are a lot of water marks at the ceiling. It just like a very old hotel. There are also not a lot of choice for you to dine.

Other than the scenery, there is nothing I like about the hotel. We are only allowed to check in after 4pm. The room is dusty. There are broken cups and glass under the bed. Most of the staff doesn't understand English. The kettle is not functioning. The bed frame is broken and the mattress has funny noise. Never go back again.

Very bad experience, only the location is good, however, the weather is not that cold. Totally out of my expectation. First, it is totally different from the picture on the website. Furniture is old and noisy. Bathroom do not have bath towel until we call for room service, no hair dryer also. Feel like leaving after seeing the room. They definitely looking for one time business only.

The french themed hotel is worth looking at..room decoration is good.. Facilities is good.. Receptionist is not as friendly as I thought, the bell boy looks more polite.. Room is hot even with the fan and aircon at full speed. There is no wifi.. Facilities in the room start to age, tv, aircon.. The place is indeed boring..

French themed buildings are nice and interesting Other than strolling along the main street, the other attractions like the Japanese garden, botanical garden are not interesting and do not have many things to see. In summary, very limited activities for tourits to adventure on.

The location was the best. Entertainment was also good. Shuttle service for the guest to the theme park was satisfactory. The hotel location is excellent. The hotel building is artistic, shuttle service to the theme park is satisfactory, but disappointed with the staff, the staff in front office and in the restaurant are not friendly at all. They are not well trained to take the load of the many arrivals. Response of the staff is poor. It is suggested that management of berjaya hills should train their staff for the high season load. They never give smile when guests arrive at the reception, do not guide properly about the facilities. Overall poor customer service. I will still recommend my friends and families Clomar Tropicale because of their great location.
