Berjaya Langkawi Resort  

Peace and quiet, Wonderful natural scenery, Excellent private beach and water sports, Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is really a resort with vast grounds and chalets spread out. Quite a distance from shopping areas and pretty secluded which can be a plus or a minus depending on what the guest prefers. High level of privacy because of the decentralized principle of room construction.

The only minus is the pool which although is very pretty and clean but way too small for the number of people who want to use it.

Loved this hotel so much! Spent unforgetable time in this lovely hotel. Personel was very nice and willing to help, room was clean and comfortable (line 7 #7107 - not so far from the lobby and with astonishing wiew from the veranda! Highly recommended! - not expensive, so you can stay for a week not thinking about your money). Beach is as it supposed to be is very beautiful and ralaxing with a fantastic view over the water shalets and green mountains. Restorants are not expensive, also you can order meal right to your room just for the same prices. Monkeys and other animals all around help you to feel close to the nature. Also you can easily get to the cable car of the island and see the charming scenery of Langkawi. And one more useful thing to mention: we could get a guest room for an hour for free on the last day of our stay after check-out, cause our plane was at 9 in the evening, P.S.: you can cal a taxi both from the airport and hotel for only 24 ringit (one-way)!!!!!

Almost nothing but once we had a 9.30 call from the room service about cleaning the room and when the answer was not now they decided not to make up it at all, yet in the evening when we came back and found it out they were willing to compensate their mistake.

The hotel is good, with quality service and very very friendly staff.

The hotel is wonderful but it is strictly not for those who are travelling with infants. Living in Rain forest chalet would be very painful with so many small insects. So anyone travelling with infant, please dont stay at all in rain forest chalet. Learn from the mistake i made.

The staff was very friendly and helpfull. We booked two trips during our stay at the resort. One dinnercruise with Stardust on 24 of december and Snorkling and diving trip with East Marine Divers. All 4 of us is of the opinion that the dinnercruise was too expensive, The guide and the crew was very kind. The other trip: The snorkling trip was excellent and we got value for the price of the trip.

The location is the biggest for berjaya. Its situated at the edge of the rain forest facing a beautiful beach with the rooms situated within the rain forest. You have the experience of living in the rainforest and that too with luxury. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The free services included 4 hours of baby sitting in a very cute playroom. And a nature The beach hotel at the beach offered indian/pakistani food berjaya is the type of resort where u should go only to enjoy the resort with ur loved one

Not a very baby friendly resort. Need to use a lot of stairs to go in and out of ur room. Will not recommend the resort for kids younger than 4. but anyone without babies tagging along. You must give this resort a shot!

This was my 3rd stay at the resort. I felt like a V.I.P. with staff having noticed at check in that I had been before. I was upgraded to a newly renovated room and received complimentary breakfasts. I also received a cake from management on my day of arrival.I had another very pleasant stay at the resort with all staff been very friendly.

Facillities old and 'dirty. wait abt 5 min for each shuttle bus. It is easily to be confused when we wait the shuttle bus in the lobby, as it is not ready for all of us ... they arranged and call the room number to let us get on the shuttle bus. It is quite stubbon when I have get on the wrong one.. the staff insist to send us to the lobby then to our chalet... It is an advantage for us to visit the oriental village and travel b the cable car to the top of langkawi... as it is 10 min walking from the resort to oriental village.

We enjoyed everything! (Even the rain). There were a lot of refurbishment going at the resort and our initial chalet was next to one that was undergoing noisy renovations. The management were very good to upgrade us to a beautiful seaside chalet. All I had requested on booking.com were entertained.

There were maintenance work going on during our visit and internet was not available in the room. On the bright side, that prevented me from doing too much office work while I was on holiday.

The hotel is soo much good for honeymoon , I like the stuff helping you every time. .. It's dangerous too take your child set there alone in room because the room is too much high you must take care cerfully. You will never forget you trip there I think

Rooms can be matched with that of Goa Hyatt. Excellent service by the staff. Amazing location. Good food (especially for Indians)

Hotel Beach is great. Welcoming staff. room design is excellent. my room view was lovely!

some towels were not clean as expected. hot water is not enough for 2 persons. TV channels were not clear so no use of TV.

Wild life is just awesome

Some staff is very service oriented, but do not use common sense.
