Berjaya Langkawi Resort  

Peace and quiet, Wonderful natural scenery, Excellent private beach and water sports, Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is really a resort with vast grounds and chalets spread out. Quite a distance from shopping areas and pretty secluded which can be a plus or a minus depending on what the guest prefers. High level of privacy because of the decentralized principle of room construction.

The only minus is the pool which although is very pretty and clean but way too small for the number of people who want to use it.

Excellent resort, great location, beautiful facilities and great staff. The mountains next to the beach are great and the Thai restaurant is a delight.

Decoración of bungaloos could be better, more traditional. A little pricey.

i loved everything in this hotel, the rooms are clean, neat and well equipped. the beach is amazing and above all is the "smart" management. they kept surprising us with their gifts and complementary stuff. i booked the Chalet on Water, although it is expensive, but it was like living the dream of luxury. I Recommend this hotel to every one and if i go back to Langkawi one day, definitely i will choose Berjaya Resort.

The Hotel is a bet far from the markets and shopping areas.

The grounds of this resort are some of the best I've seen in my life. The service was excellent and we had a great time staying in the over the water bungalow.

I wish I could have stayed longer.

After renting a car in Cenang it was easy to explore the island. In fact they provide all facilities (bar, pool bar, spa, beach, etc.) but not more.

Chalets are very far away from the lobby, which makes them very private but hard to reach without the shuttle service (free 24/7) In fact they provide all facilities (bar, pool bar, spa, beach, etc.) but not more. Nothing special and no nice atmosphere you would spend time for a drink. Staff is trying.

Hmmm..... Just the bumpy shuttle service from the room to main lobby

We stayed at the Berjaya Resort, Langkawi during Feb 2012 for 6 nights. We had booked 2 Superior Chalets but requested interconnecting rooms (with children 13 &9 ) & ones near the lobby as I know all the one near the lobby have been re modenised so free up grades ;-) About the resort: The resort’s landscape is one of its biggest attractions. Spread across acres, the resort is bordered on one side by a private beach with powdery white sand and the clear seas. The rest of the resort is nestled amidst the lush green rainforest offering a wide variety of rooms to choose from - Sea View or Rainforest View ect with birds monkeys and all sorts of wildlife. The recommended Pahn Thai restaurant, is stunning and the food was wonderful ( as is all the restaurants on resort ) the Thai its located at one end of the resort, At Berjaya one has to get the resort’s pick up & drop service Contrary to the reviews I had read of long waiting time we had a pleasant experience. The service was extremely prompt during our entire stay. we didn’t have to wait for more than a few minutes Rooms: Our room (7101-7102 was located in the midst of the rainforest. The rooms (suites) was spacious, neat & tidy and had a private sit outs and was down a steep hill to the lobby but close enouch to walk. Service: Fantasitc staff always smiling Prompt, courteous, helpful and warm. Have nothing to complain about at all some of the nicest staff i hav ever met. Had a wonderful stay at Berjaya and would highly recommend the same to fellow travellers. Location: The resort is a 15-20 minute drive from the airport on a secluded part of the island.

The hotel is soo much good for honeymoon , I like the stuff helping you every time. .. It's dangerous too take your child set there alone in room because the room is too much high you must take care cerfully. You will never forget you trip there I think
