A very good hotel to get familar with Kota Kinabalu and Sabah. Clean simple rooms. A rich breakfast buffet (good introduction to local food!) with an exellent array of different oriental dishes and fruits. Toast and western also available. Friendly sevrvice! Our late checkout (5 p.m.) was generously permitted without extra charges. A highly recommendable hotel. Good value for your money! |

The staff was really friendly. The localization is very good, near the harbour, place we can get to the islands and you can also walk to different restaurants, shoppings, bars. We have stayed almost a week on the hotel and we noticed that the room cleaning was not very good as the days passed. The room is small, but confortable. It is proper to people who do spend that much time at the hotel. |

Location - it was across the road from my appointment venue. This is the second time we have stayed at Daya - it was convenient and I was in a hurry when I booked. WE have decided that we will not stay again when we next visit KK. The rooms are too small for us and the bathrooms are not well designed. However I would recommend it to others with the warning about the size of the rooms. Service at the front bar was exceptionally slow and disorganised - 15 minutes to buy a can of coke and get my change. We visited the restaurant on day 1 but after looking at what was on offer from the buffet, we decided to go out for breakfast. |

Very helpful staff. Convenient location within walking distance of most places in Kota Kinabalu. Interesting, reasonably priced restaurant and bar on ground floor frequented also by locals and non-residents. Do you think guest reviews about this hotel on our website accurately reflect your experience there? Cannot reply to this question as I did not read any reviews. |

1. The hotel sprayed for bugs during our stay. Most of the floors were uninhabitable but we were relocated to a smaller, less-noxious room after several trips to other floors. |

Upon checking in, I entered the bathroom of the room and saw pubic hair on the soap dish. It was gross!!! My comforter also had hair on it, and I was sure it was not mine because I haven't used it yet. |

A well located hotel with all the usual facilities and friendly capable staff. Having stayed in several hotels in Asia in the previous weeks this one was as good as any. Sorry, I can't think of any - no, actually, I'm glad I can't. |

The rooms were a decent size with a nice bathroom, staff were friendly enough for a chain hotel, bar a nice way to start the evening with nice waiting staff and a good pool table. Beware of the lifts, slow and vicious |

The location was close to a mall, local tour guides, and the tourism information center. I paid for a suite which was advertised to include a kitchenette complete with microwave. All it had was a small refrigerator. |
