The hotel is very beautiful. Staff are friendly. The breakfast is a must have. Its delicious n breakfast is served at your table. Love the breakfast. Love the colonial feel of the hotel. Thumbs up

The room was nice, despite the strong lacquer smell of the floor. Checking in & out were smooth. No need to stand in front of the counter and wait for the staff to prepare the documents. We were asked to take our seats first and were then provided glasses of nice cold tea (chrysanthemum, I believe). Such small gestures that added to the comfortable luxury.

The limited breakfast selection. The noodle tasted bland. Would be better if we were given a few other options like some local food, not 100% English breakfast. The steaks during dinner at the same venue were also not satisfactory, despite the prices.

Overall service was amazing.Really love the hotel and i dare say it's the best there is in Cameron Highland. A perfect getaway for my father as the golf course is right across while me and my mother could just whiz around to the tea plantation, fruit market and around town. Really love the freshness of the room, well kept and not damp/musty as most accomodation in Cameron. View from the balcony is breathtaking as you can see the greens.

Breakfast was colourful, however may need more improvement in term of taste. And yes a bit noisy due to the location of the hotel at the main road. However if you are from kl/big cities its quite normal. Hopefuly the pianist is available next time.

Style of hotel, value for money, staff attitudes and behaviour. Food. Just about everything.

Lobby is very great decorated

They start cleaning the rooms after we go back to hotel first time at 6pm and second time at 3pm!!! also I don't like their cleaning. Also there is no open buffet there is a menu with limited choices of eggs and waffle only and you have to chose from them. also there is no elevator or slope for baby trolley or disabled people to rooms or from street to entrance.

Big room.

1. Bad smell in room, like it was closed and nobody stayed there for long time. 2. Towels and bathrobes were not fresh, I had to request to replace these. 3. Mosquitoes in room and when asked the reception at the time of check in, I was told they can't do anything about it. 4. The complementary fruits kept in my room were completely rotten fruits, which give me a message of Hotel's disrespectful attitude to the guests. 5. Bad location. No nearby outlets for food shopping etc. 6. No air-condition in the Hotel. Although the weather is cold in Cameron, but not all times. I felt hot and Hotel did not have any solution to this, except providing me an old pedestal fan which I had to switch off due to its noise. 7. Pathetic breakfast, not matching 5 star standards. Only 4 to 5 options in breakfast. Also not much options in the in room dining menu. 8. I am always excited about the balcony to sit out and enjoy the view with little privacy, but the balcony of my room was so small that two people could hardly stand there, forget about sitting out and enjoying anything. 9. Not worth for money at all.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere is great in the hotel and afternoon tea served in their unique way.

It was very noisy from the road.

We arrived late in the night and I am glad that the staff were very helpful upon arrival. I like th old colonial decor and the suite we had was lovely! My daughter likes the poster bed so much that she fell asleep staring at the drape hanging above the bed. I thought it was so cute!

The noise from the main road is something that needs to be fix. The management should consider investing in double glazed windows/doors to reduce the noise.

Very efficient friendly staff. Excellent room finished to a high standard. All common areas and dining rooms are very comfortable and pleasant for relaxing in.

High level of road traffic noise continuing througout the night. Such a pity as this for us is the only downside to an otherwise excellent stay.

We had to wait for one hour to get the room. No free internet connection in rooms. Too expensive for services.

Lovely colonial style hotel, almost expected Hercule Poirrot to walk in! Excellent staff.

Shame there wasn't a pool or garden to relax in, though we did have balcony. Also evening meals only formal al a carte quite rich would have preferred option for lighter bar type meal.Stayed 3 days but think 2 days sufficient. On a lot of the walking route piles of rubbish everywhere.

Excellent rooms and facilities

Proximity to noisy main road for rooms facing the road. Expensive and disappointing evening meal, comment made to staff regarding main course, but no response or concern that we hadn´t enjoyed it.

The best hotel in the area by no means, professional and friendly staff, highly comfortable and clean room with nice designs, the hotel also can arrange trips to discover Cameron Highlands.

Noise from vehicles passing by, our room was close to the main road. The library is very limited.

Rooms are spacious, surroundings beautiful and all sights are withing reasonable driving distance. Excellent Japanese restaurant in the hotel, but check in advance if there's room (tip: to eat cheap, cross the street for the golf club cafe, but only after you've enjoyed the Japanese cooking first ;-).

Cameron Highland Resort is not for everyone. 5-Star service is a bit over the top at times - after a while you start to avoid personnel as they keep following you, ask if they can carry your stuff, greet and check on you if everything is still ok. If you're into that kind of service, you'll love it. Breakfast is a basket of breads, some cerial and fruit and tea and juice. Anything warm (pair of eggs, waffle etc) is extra and very expensive to Malaysian standards. No wifi or lan in the rooms. Only wifi in the lobby and reading room.
