I will not suggest this hotel to others travellers. The reception ( chinese man ) was so rude not suitable working in this line...I Booked for family room and pay for rm 130 but the room too small and not valued for money. No kattle in the room and hot water at downstairs nor really boiled that make my family got cough.

- Great location in the city center, in the heart of Chinatown, close to lrt station - room was fine, but without window; - ideal for a one-night stay - not more - Bathroom - a little to small; there was no separate shower cabin; - staff - could be more polite - the guy working on the morning shift was rather unfriendly and was smoking next to the reception desk; - lack of breakfast.

As I walked through Chinatown to the hotel, I was a bit unsure what it was going to look like, but I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the building. The manager was very friendly and the room was comfy and clean.

Staff was OK. Location was OK, if you like the hassle of Chinatown nightmarket. The Pasar Seni train station was pretty near. There was a safe locker in the lobby. We had a standard room and it was not what we expected, even from a budget hotel. There was lot of air moisture damage on the walls and very powerful smell of mold in the air. Smelled like a cellar. It made the room very uncomfortable to sleep in. On a rainy night there were some water dripping on the walls. Bathroom door frames were rotten by some part. We had no window in our room. I wouldn`t recommend a standard room to anyone.

Location was good, on the busy market street. The cold water didn't flow through the mixer shower tap, so sebsequently had a short, very hot shower, after a long hot journey. When I asked the hotel manager he visited the room and suggested it was fixed, as my time in kl was short I left it there. I suggested the manager should discount the room as offering me another was not forth coming. The manager was rude and suggest I was unreasonable He offered me a cold drink but would not stretch to a beer only a coke. In the morning the cold tap was again not in use and when the hot tap ran the water can only be described as brown, shocked I grabbed a camera The manager was nowhere to be found and due to my need to leave early in the morning I left Hotel China Inn unwashed and unhappy before my long journey back to Englad via Singapore. There are an obundence of hotels nearby, don't choose this one.

A rude Chinese receptionist. I thought that people exaggerate about him in the reviews, but it is so true. In fact you should visit this hotel just to experience it. Luckily, they also have a polite Indian receptionist.

The price attracted me. My girlfriend and I are backpack-traveling in KL city and we only reach the hotel at night so we do not need a high end hotel, a cost saving and comfortable hotel is more than enough for us. Furthermore, it is located just a stone's throw away from the LRT and monorail station which solved our transportation problem. Plus the staffs are polite (especially the short, curly-hair aunty^^) and they managed to make our day and made us feel at home after a whole day walk in the city! We will definitely visit the hotel again in near future!! I found a chinese staff there who look rather cool and impolite (not sure whether he's the owner or the manager of the hotel), would appreciate it if he puts on more smile :-) It would be best if there's a water dispenser provided in every level so we do not need to go up and down the hotel to fill water.

Cheap hotel, good location - this was our second stay there and would stay there for a third time while in Kuala as a back-packer. There was electricity blackout before we checked out, so we had to pack our stuff in total darkness.

Location in the middle of Chinatown. Good Nightlife, good food, train station and ATM next to the hotel. Crowded day market in front of the hotel (8am to 11pm) makes it really difficult to find the small hotel entry.
