Dicht bij Cititel Penang vindt u vele eetgelegenheden en winkelmogelijkheden, en het is 30 minuten rijden naar het strand Batu Feringghi en de internationale luchthaven Bayan Lepas. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Nice beds, nice shower. Good location, in the city-centre of Georgetown. Daily English newspaper is nice. Wifi isn't free, it's 40 Ringit a day. That's really expensive for a hotel that's already quite expensive. The hotel is not personal. Staff isn't really helpful. They'll answer questions, but not happily.

For the price this was a good hotel. The rooms are basic and perhaps a bit run down but that is reflected in the price Location is good on the edge of best parts of Georgetown. Near to night market which is worth a visit! Room was basic and not the newest/cleanest but as I said this is reflected in price.

The location of the hotel is convinient, and the price is reasonable.friendly and helpful staff.Really apprieciate for staff of booking .com and cititiel receptionist kindly helping for my wrong date booking mistake.they solved the problem effectively.Thank you. Famous chendol and duck noodle are nearby. The hotel car service driver provide us good services and reasonable price.

Location was good, just down the road from popular eating and night spots. Cleanliness wasn't on top of their list. Bed linen was stained and our room was only available at 4pm despite check in time at 2pm. It also gets really loud at night with the corridors bustling with activity from other guest - no sound proofing there!! Overall, not worth the money spent.

Great hotel to stay. Clean, nice and comfy. Location is great as easy to travel around city. There is a transport service outside the hotel that bring you around places you want to go and a lots of trishaw ride3 outside. Great

The Cititel restaurant had a superb buffet breakfast included in our price. This beautiful restaurant also offered lunch and dinner at reasonable prices, though maybe a little higher than the restaurant across the road. The Cititel was very central, particularly accessible to buses. There were bus stops only a few minutes away from which we could travel all over the island. There were plenty of local food and clothing stalls. We walked our way to the major Georgetown sites and caught the bus back. The room was comfortable and had a lovely seaview. It was difficult to convince hotel advisors that we wanted to use public transport and not hire cars..but we finally found out what we needed to know. It did take a couple of days though. Also, we had some issues with mould in the bathroom at first but staff went to a lot of trouble to find us a room where we were happy.

OK location, a bar/restaurant street 200m away. Walking distance to a semi-OK shopping mall (Prangin Mall). Rooms are a bit old and the floor carpet felt moist.

Breakfast spread was good. Parking was horrible as the path way very narrow and the operators allowed double parking. The bathroom can be improved further by having a wc bidet. Dustbins should be underlined with plastic and the ones in the bathroom should have a cover. Should have 4 pillows readily on the bed. Room had very strong cigarette smell when we stepped in the room. Should be that bad eventhough we requested for a smoking room.

“Na een zeer vermoeiende reis kwamen we pas rond 23.00 aan in het hotel. We hadden slechts 1 overnachting geboekt, omdat we de dag erna 's ochtends met de boot naar Langkawi wilde nemen.
