Location is excellent, as all 4 lrt stations are at walking distance. Hotel is nice and clean. Hotel staff is very co-operative and very informative. We were helped right from the time we stepped in to the hotel by concierge staff, as were helped by them to take our baggage right up to out room. Petronas Towers view is excellent from the Club Floor rooms. Pool and Health club was nice and clean even Club Lounge facility is good till 11pm and sufficient freebies. Bathroom was just spacious and water flow pressure from the shower and tap was good. No Bed bugs on the bed as we read from earlier reviews. Will definitely suggest my friends and relatives to try these Hotel and my next trip will stay back again in the same hotel, as all services rendered as mentioned in the room package. Even the complimentary breakfast was just good and enough. Thank you citrus hotel see u again!!!!! No enough electric points for chargers and Laptop, also multi-plugs not available. Club lounge internet is very slow and only one pc. Should have their own Cabs for apt and kl Sentral transfers with nominal charge, as metered taxis charge is as per the vim's and fancies of Taxi drivers. As per map of booking.com, Citrus Hotel location is wrong, its not near Chow Kit lrt, but its near Sultan Ismail lrt Station.

It is close to the lrt and Monorail There are two excellent shopping malls within easy walking distance. We booked the most expensive rooms which are situated on the 10th Floor with a Club Lounge that is available to only those on the 9th and 10th floor. You can have complimentary snacks, cold drinks, coffee and tea with free internet access. A nice quiet lounge to unwind. You need a room overlooking the twin towers the view is great especially at night. Rooms are large and spacious and not so noisy, also non-smoking. Apart from the problem experienced (see below) once this was sorted out everything was great. You still had the odd problem like the newspaper not being delivered to you in the morning (included when staying in club rooms) a call always had someone bringing it to us. After three days they got the message and there was no further problems. We got to know the staff well and they went out of their way to make sure all was ok. Be aware that club rooms are also on the 9th floor. We were put into one on this floor for a two night stay whilst in transit to another country. The one we had was at the side of the hotel ( it was either 916 or 918 next to a very noisy building site that worked all night). The room had a queen size bed (instead of the normal king size) and was a lot smaller and cramped to the ones we have had previously. We had no sleep whatsover due to the jack hammer and concrete mixer going non- stop all night. We complained that the room was no-where near the standard of those in the front and back of the 10th floor that we had stayed in last year and for our first 6 days on arrival. Due to me being sick on the day we were to leave we cancelled our trip to Java and decided to remain kl. We asked to be moved back to the 10th floor for the rest of our trip which was 10 days and explained why. It was difficult but with persistancy and talking to a Manager they finally moved us back to the top floor again in room 1011 and reduced the price for those two nights we had in the substandard room on the 9th floor. Be aware there are a lot of indian tour groups that use this hotel. We got use to it, but breakfast was very busy, and choice somewhat depleted. They usually came in on Friday and went on Monday. Very noisy and crowded. Indians are smokers, another reason why you need the 10th floor which is non-smoking.

I'm a regular at Citrus. The staff do take note of regular clients & the value feedbacks from regulars. The location is ok due to the fact that it is not on the main road. Very accommodating staff from the Front office to the housekeeping.

Poximity to downtown/business centers, coupled with moderate costings. Some young guests did not behave properly at late hours and were not warned accordingly by staff. Minibar was empty throughout, towels were not available upon occupying the room, and were not exchanged, even if asked to be, according to written directions in the bathroom.

It has all the basic amenities required for a short stay and for a traveller who requires a nice, clean room to stay. Located next to Jalan Raja Laut and the far end of Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. Those who wanted to do some sundry shopping at Chow Kit market will like the hotel. There is no basement parking facilities and parking in front of the lobby is very restricted. However it is observed that the security do their rounds and its a consolation.

The hotel was farely close to the golden triangle as well as being relatively cheap for what was promised when we did the booking online. Also the staff was friendly and the breakfast was satisfactory. Having someone acctually bring your luggage up to your room is something not widely practised among hotel staff in Europe so I was positively surprised to get this service at this budget hotel. The pluming was horrible in our room, with the taps and toilket being out of service for some time when they were most needed. Also there was no hot water due to some mailfunction of the water boilers on the roof, this was the answer I was given calling the front desk, also the problem was hotel wide and not only our room. Despite this I heard the couple living next door to us taking showers while the water was supposed to be out in the whole hotel.... The plumbing was also a horrible surprise in the sense that feaces came up from the toilet at one point, and the water was for brown and at one point even black. Not something one would expect from a hotel that gives a rather glamorous picture of it self on its homepage.

I stayed at the Citrus Hotel 9 months earlier and unfortunately I have noticed a significant deterioration of the facility. Almost no equipment worked in the gym, the pool requires a lot of maintenance and the room I stayed in was showing significant signs of wear and tear. Rooms facing the street are still noisy and the pool gets sun only after lunchtime as it is on the second floor. However, the staff are dedicated and very obliging and the hotel is only three monorail stops away from the city centre. I asked for a late checkout and got it ! I booked for three nights online and they insisted that I was staying for two only. We did sort it out eventually.
