My City Hotel  

Away from the place. Staff need to constantly remind about cleaning the room. Beware of rooms with no windows in particular those who suffer from disease confined space. When booking on the website had information that all taxes and fees are paid in full but since I asked for 16% occupancy rates and key deposit.No fridge in the rooms and there is no declared 28 square meters. Each night under the windows of burning garbage and all the smoke in your room and a very unpleasant smell of burning.

The location was very good if you want to do budget shopping, with some more shopping complexes within walking distance. Lots of places to have food. Not noisy. Hot and cold water available. The hotel room was clean, and the staff was quick to respond to request for room services. Arranged on-time taxis when requested.

The usual practice what we have seen is settling the bill at the time of checkout. But here we were requested to pay for the full duration of stay upon arrival, and in addition to that they wanted a small deposit also (which they gave at the time of check-out). Except for one staff member, the other staff at the front desk seem to be constantly in anger (may be they were not angry but they just appeared to be). Both the room and the bathroom were very small and very basic. But they were clean. There weren't any coffee or tea making facilities.

Very good location just 1 minute from petaling street shopping area. Good room for budget price. Good walking distance from metro station.

It's a convenient place coz near everywhere except for the halal food stalls. But overall I give it 80% coz d water supply keep getting cut off.

My husband loves to watch DVDs but there's no DVDs in your room. And there's no kettle to boil water fOr my daughter too...I Need to go to d water cooler to get hot water.

The first impression when I first see the hotel is very good. The location is perfect. It is located at walking distance from China Town and Central Market, major tourist attractions. Staff are friendly and helpful when I approach for information about place and travel plans. Inside room, it provides soap and a tower. Beds are clean and air-con is cold. Small tv is provided with quite more channels.

The hotel only provide only one key card. Key card is required for electrical power. So it is very inconvenience when sharing the room with two person. Hotel charge additional 3% bank charges when I tried to settle my bill using my credit card. I am not aware of it and feel a little bit upset. Luckily I have bring enough Cash to settle my bill so that to avoid 3% bank charges.

It was very convenient. All the shops were within walking distance and we didn't have to spend any money on transport. And there's a direct Star Shuttle from air port to the hotel (a location very close to the hotel). This helped a lot.

There were no wi-fi in the room. And one staff did not allow us to use the PCs downstairs (when my laptop couldn't connect to the wi-fi). But another staff apologized for that when we were leaving, so may be in the future they wouldn't treat their customers like that :) Also the view from the window was not good.

Location near to Shopping District.

Tha place is great ( nearby Pettaling street and MRT station).

But in the room we had two cockroachs. So we asked to change room and in the another room sit cockroach on the door. Finally they gave us room wihtout them, but it was almost 2 a.m.

Near by china town, convenience to buy things. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful.

Hotel environment not really comfortable.

Affordable, simple rooms with free wifi. Great location in the middle of Chinatown in a quiet street. Near 2 meto stations, so the whole city is just a few steps away. Guy from the reception is really nice. Good value.
