Some things in the room were not to well maintained, like (blood) stains on the curtain, and the smell of the room was not very nice, neither was the smell of some of the pillows.

The service of staff made up the comfort to stay here.

I left my towel inside the room and expected some one will call me on that but I have not received any call.

Nice ambiance with good hospitality.

No Life guard at swimming pool. Basement car park is not accessible-friendly. Not enough lighting in the car park.

The beach like a private beach & good for fishing also.

The mattress is hard when got up got back pain.

I did not like the present hotel which is old and need to do somethings ; up grade, change the frontage of the building and receiption area.

Price and friendly staff

Room was very tired and not clean when we first moved in . Food was really bad.

When I checked in I had to carry all my bags from the car to the reception. As the path is steep from the road to the lobby, it was an arduous task.

Nice room big room, with seasight. Close to the hotel you can do parasailing and jetski. With the bus you can visit everything

It is by buss 45 min to Georgetown.

The private beach was nice, although not quiet as got building site towering it. The swimming pool was reasonable size

On entering the hotel it looks like a 4 star, until you get into the lift. The corridors were straight out of the film "The Shining" and was eary! The room was filthy dirty, I started taking pictures and at picture 25 I felt I had to complain. I was shown 3 other rooms, all with faults from blocked sinks, blown bulbs, dirty bed linen, make up on bathroom walks, previous occupants hair on bed sides, thick layers of dust on skirting boards, the list goes on. I remained as it was only a pass by stop for me, and I didn't want the hassle of finding another hotel. The only part of the hotel that's 4star is the foyer, the rest is a laughable 2 star at absolute best, and needs a very intensive clean. If you can afford somewhere else than this, I would go with that option, this hotel really tainted my stay in Penang!

restaurant food was superb and the front desk service is fast and efficient. Pricing wise is fair comparing to the rest of the hotel nearby. The room cleanliness is acceptable and the comfortability is up to standard.

the furniture in the room is way much more older then my great grandfather age, perhaps is time to do a little renovation? There is a lot of facilities that is not available but for a normal stay that search only for room, this hotel serve it's purpose.

I love the spacious room. I could move freely inside the room and even the toilet also smells good & clean.

I dont like the room key. You could upgrade it to the key card. More user friendly compared to the key.

Very old furnitures and facilities. Basement car park don't have life access to lobby or room. Need to carry luggage and walk up fly of stairs. Mattress is hard and uncomfortable. Air con control only have low, medium, high and off. No temperature control. Balcony glass window is broken.

Staff in general were nice.

Dealt with one rude staff working at the reception counter. The hotel needs a lot of renovations. The hotel entrance, you need to walk like 30 steps to reach the entrance.

1. The adult pool is sufficiently big. 2. no major fault to ruin any one's holidays.

Very old facilities; still using 21" crt tv with blurry images. 2. the so-call suite is nothing more than an addition of a small coffee table and a old 2-seater wooden frame sofa chair, and for that, the price is much higher than the normal room, stop short of calling it a rip-off. DO NOT believe what you see of the room photos posted on the hotel web site.

Good and relaxed hotel. A little old but still good value for themonye.

Gym was only a bike and treadmill. I missed weights etc.
