The holiday rate I obtained (RM 166 a night) was a very good deal. The hotel was easily accessible and in a fairly central location. Taxi rates from the hotel to the town was reasonable. |

Staying at Copthorne Orchid Hotel was a real pleasure. The rooms were spacious with large beds and comfortable. Buffet menu was available for a very reasonable price and taxis were always available at the doorstep. |

The beach view is excellent and the size of the room is comfortable. Hotel bus to take you to popular locations so it is very convenient. |

There was a shuttle bus to George town & the night market daily. The pool was nice & the staff were friendly & helpful. The location was away from the main areas. The pool area could do with some new sunbeds. |

The view from the room is pleasant as it is sea-facing. Facilities are adequate and the staff are helpful. The location of the hotel is also convenient for travelling by Rapid bus to Georgetown/Gurney area, as well as to Batu Ferringi. The spread of the buffet breakfast is a little limited. |

I liked the views of the sea. This hotel was in a few words, a disgrace. The room I was given was filthy. There was no safe or anything else in the wardrobe. The drawers and carpet were filthy, full of black hairs and worn holes in the carpet and stains. The bed blanket had living bed bugs in its, and was blood stained. Unbelievable. The room very small, and maintenance was going on on the floor. I found out from the repair men that no one else was living on that floor except me. How this place can be rated 4 stars is unbelievable. I left the room after many hours of complaint to theduty manager and I was given a refurbished bigger room, but this hotel is very poor value for money, miles out of Georgetown, the shuttle bus goes once a day and is always full. |

The reservation and frontline personnel are friendly and helpful. The room is clean. The toilet floor is sticky. The tv reception is poor. The shower water pressure is not consistent. |

The room we were put into was in very shabby condition. The light by the bed was hagging, broken off the wall, no tv remote, tv cable from the wall to tv broken, bathroom door rotted at bottom, milldue in the tub, water for tub fell off when trying to turn on water, bed like a rock. I demanded a new room with softer bed, at first they wanted more money, I said to check me out. The then offer to show me another room which I accepted. |

It was cool n peaceful environment with beach scenario. 1. My child felt uncomfortable with the toilet bowl which is without the attached tap water system. He felt uneasy to use tissue papers instead of water. 2. While my mother (old lady) also felt uncomfortable with bath system whereby she have to climb and stand on the bathtub to take bath because she not familiar with foreign bathroom designs. |

All the hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful. My family and I were allowed to checked out around 3pm upon request and we weren't charged for the short extension. No lift/staircase leading directly from the carpark to the hotel lobby. |

Enjoyed the swimming pool, local food, sightseeing. Lovely room looking out to sea. Great room. Plenty of local buses to Georgtown and other beaches. Computers very slow, you need to bring your own. The currents bring in quite a bit of rubbish to the beach |

The best thing was the location. It was easy for my friends to find and convenient to food stall locations/ I did not feel that the room llived up to the discription on the internet. The hairdryer that was in my room had a very frayed cord making it a hazaard to use, I was expecting more than local channels on tv and just didn't seem to live up to what I had heard about your hotel from others. |

Yes, the toilets were bad.door broken, water clogged in the sink and after numerous complain I finaly was able to get clean towel although I requested it at 10.00 am, it was delivered to me at 6.00pm. |
