ビーチリゾートにしては安価。高級感など過剰な期待を求めなければ部屋はそこそこ広く、古いけれど清潔には- 保っているから十分。日本の団体旅行でも宿泊している様子。近くにコンビニ、屋台、レストランがあり、外で- の食事も困らない。バス停も近く、ジョージタウンへのアクセスは便利。可もなく不可もなく。 プライベートビーチは名ばかり、誰もいないし、綺麗ではない。まだプールのほうがマシ。宿泊した部屋のベッ- ドランプのひとつは電球が入っていなく、当然つかない。そのくらいのメンテナンスはするべきだと思う。タン- ジュンブンガはショッピングが出来るようなところでもないし、リゾートといっても中途半端。リゾートを期待- するならバトゥフェリンギに行った方がよい。 |

部屋もホテル専用ビーチもスイミングプールも、殆ど飾付けやインテリアの工夫が成されてなく、まるでビジネ- スホテルの様なシンプルさ。立地が街中でビジネス客が対象のホテルなら仕方ないが、Tg Bungahと言う立地では宿泊客がガッカリする筈。廊下も部屋もカビ臭いし、部屋のペンキがはげ落ち、古- い鏡には黒点が浮き、冷蔵庫の台にもシミがあり、コンセントは壊れていて電源を供給しない。予算が限られて- いると言い訳するマネージメントなら引退すべきだ。10年前のコプトーン・シンガポールも同じ様に低レベル- だったが、今は他のホテル並みに成長した。経営手腕の確かな新人がマネージメントに就けば解決する証拠かな- 。 予約した時の「氏名」「パスポート番号」「クレジットカード」で予約確認ができないフロントなんて初めて。- インターネット室に連れて行かれ、予約確認書を印刷してからフロントに出直す様に指示されたのも初めての経- 験。インターネットやペーパーレスの時代なのに、印刷した物がなければチェックインできないなんて時代遅れ- も甚だしい。チェックインはホテル到着後の最初の一歩。第一印象は大事にすべきだと思うが、、 |

Sea views, private beach, room service-western menu (Pizza was delicious and generous), friendly helpdesk staffs. Bathroom. Room 1 : shower/tab not functioning. Plumber had to come everyday to fix it. Room 2: shower pressure was too low that it didn't "shower". |

The holiday rate I obtained (RM 166 a night) was a very good deal. The hotel was easily accessible and in a fairly central location. Taxi rates from the hotel to the town was reasonable. |

Staying at Copthorne Orchid Hotel was a real pleasure. The rooms were spacious with large beds and comfortable. Buffet menu was available for a very reasonable price and taxis were always available at the doorstep. |

There was a shuttle bus to George town & the night market daily. The pool was nice & the staff were friendly & helpful. The location was away from the main areas. The pool area could do with some new sunbeds. |

The view from the room is pleasant as it is sea-facing. Facilities are adequate and the staff are helpful. The location of the hotel is also convenient for travelling by Rapid bus to Georgetown/Gurney area, as well as to Batu Ferringi. The spread of the buffet breakfast is a little limited. |

I liked the views of the sea. This hotel was in a few words, a disgrace. The room I was given was filthy. There was no safe or anything else in the wardrobe. The drawers and carpet were filthy, full of black hairs and worn holes in the carpet and stains. The bed blanket had living bed bugs in its, and was blood stained. Unbelievable. The room very small, and maintenance was going on on the floor. I found out from the repair men that no one else was living on that floor except me. How this place can be rated 4 stars is unbelievable. I left the room after many hours of complaint to theduty manager and I was given a refurbished bigger room, but this hotel is very poor value for money, miles out of Georgetown, the shuttle bus goes once a day and is always full. |

The reservation and frontline personnel are friendly and helpful. The room is clean. The toilet floor is sticky. The tv reception is poor. The shower water pressure is not consistent. |

The room we were put into was in very shabby condition. The light by the bed was hagging, broken off the wall, no tv remote, tv cable from the wall to tv broken, bathroom door rotted at bottom, milldue in the tub, water for tub fell off when trying to turn on water, bed like a rock. I demanded a new room with softer bed, at first they wanted more money, I said to check me out. The then offer to show me another room which I accepted. |

It was cool n peaceful environment with beach scenario. 1. My child felt uncomfortable with the toilet bowl which is without the attached tap water system. He felt uneasy to use tissue papers instead of water. 2. While my mother (old lady) also felt uncomfortable with bath system whereby she have to climb and stand on the bathtub to take bath because she not familiar with foreign bathroom designs. |
