Although its a new hotel, i noticed that the paint job for the walls in the bathroom (where bathroom mirror is) was quite bad. Toilet bowl was stuck - bad plumbing. Front desk staff should be a bit more friendly.More smiles. |

The room is fairly well furnished with modern furniture, and a walled flat screen TV. Air-conditioning is very good and the shower water pressure is good too. Bed and bedding is quite comfortable. The doormen and the bell boys were courteous and friendly, similarly the housekeeping staff. Partial sea view is great Internet service was provided but only limited to local access, which is not good as I could not get my Windows mail. In the end I had to use my own mobile modem. The front desk staff need more training to attend to clients checking in. The lady was just asking for my passport or IC instead of offering help to check me in. The insistence for the date of birth is a real turn off. Housekeeping staff only came around at 5.00 p.m. to clean the room, which was very late, and we've just came back to the room after having been out the whole day, very inconvenient. Room size is much smaller than those we have stayed at Gurney Drive. |

Since the hotel is very new, the furnishings in the room are very good. The reception staff were very friendly and we were attended to promptly at check in. Even the staff at the coffee house were very polite and friendly. The only complaint I have for this hotel is there is only one three pin switch in the entire room which is definitely not enough for usage. It is rather disappointing for such a new hotel. The management should take the trouble to look into this. |

The staff were very polite. 1) Carpark- The B1 carpark was very unorganise. Seems like you are trying to squeeze all the space you can find. Very bad first impression.2) The 3pin elctrical plug provided in the room is not SIRIM appoved. I used it 3 times, and on all the occasions, the were spark. Safety is sacrifised. Might as well don't provide the 3 pin adaptor. |

The cafe staff are very polite, friendly. To me, they had already did their very best to make me feel comfortable. And they are very helpful. Eastin Hotel Check in at 2pm, however I had waited for 2 hours till 4pm then only I could check in. The reason they gave was the housekeeper need more time to clean the room for me. I think the management have to compensate me, coz the room rate actually cost me about rm296.7 Which mean from 2pm (check in) till the second day (check out) at 12pm, which mean every hour equal to rm13.50, That means I paid rm27 just for waiting their house keeper to tidy up the room. |

Since this is a very new hotel I have nothing but praises for it. Hope the management will continue to maintain the hotel as it is now. The variety of food for the buffet breakfast is consumable and the only complaint I have is the soup. Soups should be kept hot at all times. This applies to the soup for the buffet dinner as well. The staff in general are very polite. The housekeeping staff should be more observant when cleaning the room and they should replace used shampoo, bath gel, cotton buds etc. |
