The view from the room was good and the air is fresh. No noisy sound from the escalator / lift even though the Deluxe room we were staying is not too far from the lift. The staffs were generally polite and took note of our requests on house keeping. The room is spacious and quite clean. Check-in : There was only one staff available at the Check-Out counter. The Check-In counter was open but not manned. After some waiting, I was told to check-in at the check-out counter ( as the signage clearly displayed). To avoid confusion for the guests, I would suggest that the hotel should look into this. If there is a shortage of staff during that period, proper signage should be placed e.g. in this case ... please check-in at the Check Out counter or close the counter and move the signage to the Check-Out counter. The first impression at the reception is important. The basic facilities room facilities offered by the hotel does not commensurate with the 4-star rating i.e. furnitures were rather old unlike some other 4-star hotel

The weather No breakfast provided. We booked 10 rooms at the Rate of RM394 per room. It was kind of disappointment that it did not come with breakfast. Based on our frequent travels within Malaysia, this is our first experience that no breakfast included for a room above RM300.

Where then could we complaint? Disappointed with 1. your toilet at lobby is like Cameron Highland Bus Station toilet. 2.Why toilet in the bathroom does not have a pipe for washing, this is what I meant like CH bus station toilet.

Walking distance to strawberry farm n kea farm Surprisingly this is a 4 star hotel... Poor maintenance, room was smelly, food was overpriced..... And I cant believe a 4 star hotel get "b" grade for it's coffee house cleanliness.... Even a mamak restaurant can get "a" grade. Equatorial is quite a well known name in kuala lumpur, I think the management should do something about this...seriously...

Location Rooms in serious need of renovation, Ridiculous high price to have internet access, Even to use WIFI in the Lobby costing RM 30. Ridiculous when you can access WIFI in almost all coffee outlets and more for free. About time this hotel came into the 21st Century. The room I booked was supposed to be a deluxe room, that had to be a joke. Dread to think what a standard room would have been like. No i will not be staying at this hotel aqain.

Location is very peaceful. Even though there are development works going on in the area, noise did not really bother us even though it inevitably spoilt the view. Evening meals at restaurant very good and staff very efficient. IGood place to stay to explore the area having your own car makes it easier, parking no problem I had previously booked another hotel in the area but at the last minute changed to Equatorial as it was advertised as having air conditioned rooms. This hotel does not have such rooms, however during our stay we were lucky it was not too hot and the location is quite cool. Bathroom could be cleaner and supples of soap etc rather poor. Breakfast not bad but overpriced.

The location is the best in Cameron Highlands as it is at the highest accessible point. Parking facilities convenient as basement lifts are connected directly to all levels. Maintenance can be further improved. Price paid should have been less as I stayed during off peak period.

Good location. Close to many places of interest around Cameron Highlands but not in the crowded (full of hotels and shops) location.

“Initiallly I did not expect the facilities of the hotel to be as such but as soon as I arrive I know that I made a reasonable choice and I don't regret then. The children enjoy their freedom , having to stay in their own room without the watchful eyes of their mom!” Isnazunita, Shah Alam |
