I have frequently stayed at Hotel Equatorial Melaka during most of my visits to Melaka and never feel bored with the ambience and comfort of staying in the hotel, not to mention the great shopping and cultural activities all within walking distances ! |

The Room doesn't giv me a "wow" feeling. One very bad thing about the hotel was the list. We waited like more then 15 mins for the lift on our floor to go down to the lobby, The lift just by pass us. We've to catch the lift that is going up before we can go down. |

The location of the hotel was great, walking distance to a few places that we are planning to go... 1) We indicated that we will check in at 1pm. But when we reach at 2plus, the rooms were not ready. We went for lunch and came back around 4pm, one of the room (we booked 2 rooms in total) were still not ready... 2) The carpark.. very bad management. The lots were full and we were asked to park at the back of the hotel.. where we cant find any lots as well... 3) Bed bugs.. |

The room was comfortable and the service very good. No free wireless Internet service, not even in the lobby. The buffet breakfast was not worth the price charged. |

Staff are courteous and helpful. Hotel room is clean and TV programme adequate with international news coverage. Hotel near places of interest, shopping and restaurants. Suggest hotel stay should come with breakfast which most of the the Malaysian hotels are providing. |

The location of the hotel. It was very close to the sights in the city. There are some buses from Singapore drop off and pick up at the hotel. I reserved the hotel for three adults in a room. Three of us were at the reception desk but the clerk was offering one King size bed only. I told her that I had reserved three single beds for non-smoking. She insisted that there were only two choices, one King bed for non-smoking or two single bed for smoking. She never apologized for the circumstances, amazingly. |

The staff and the private carpark of the hotel which is good. The location of the hotel is aslo good as it is near to the shopping area and eating outlets and the historic places of Melaka. Got a nice swimming pool in the hotel. i think should include a breakfast buffet or something when we stay in the hotel. The room does not have curtain. There is lack of enterainment, should have a bowling alley or games room at the hotel or a pool table. |

This hotel is located in Melaka Town, so it's easier to me to go shopping & ect. Yes, it's regarding to the room. I can't sleep comfortly at night because of the noise from outside. There was no curtain in the room so I can hear noises clearly from outside. |

Hotel Staff are very friendly. Good services at Club Room. Club Hotel Room are spacious, comfortable and have nice views (with 2 balconies). Near to shopping mall. 1) Poor efficiency of housekeeping in getting the rooms ready (seems like under-staffed). Check-in time was 2pm, but, we only get our room about 5pm+. 2) Housekeeping didn't make up our rooms on the 2nd day of our stay. |

It was accessible to places of interest. I made a call to reception and house keeping about the horrible colour of the water - almost brown - both the bath and the wash basin. It was the worst my wife and I have seen in years. We were there for our 30th Wedding Anniversary - and that was disappointing. |

It is near by the branded new shopping centre, but if the hotel can build an underpass to the shopping centre directly instead pass by the road, it will be perfect. hotel should provide more information of Melaka, e.g. night market on Saturday, main shopping area and etc. |
