convenient for shopping and walk to downtown while we were staying you are in the middle of changing the wall paper and it created alot of noise and smell of glue.The room is dirty and the carpet stained.Needed to update the room to international standard. |

Only positive was the location, 2 mins walk to heritage village and swimmimg pool was nice. This wasn't a 5 star hotel, lobby was nice and welcoming, but once out of lift walking to room the corridor needs a lick of paint, And new carpet, as there were stains everywhere. Room had a damp smell and fridge was so smelly. The room also needed a lick of paint as there was scuffed skirting boards, stains on walls and doors. The carpet was the same as hall way, all stained. |

Sound-proofing in the hotel room can be improved as noises from street and room upstairs can be heard in the night. Room is clean but window is dusty. |

The location 1) The safe in the room was difficult and not "user friendly". Did not respond to commands and I had to get hotel staff to explain and open it. Always a depay of 3 to 5mins to get the safe to accept commands before it would open. They need to install more user friendly safes.2) The swimming pool is a bit run down and they could do a lot more with it.3) Reception staff did not know much about the best restaurants to go to, shopping areas, site seeing, etc. No free detailed maps for tourists available. Management need to improve on this. |

Stopped off in Malaysia for 4 days en route back to the UK from Australia. Chose Melaka about 2 hours from KL. Hotel was everything we could have asked for. Good central location, lots of things on the doorstep. Booked Equator Club room, costs slightly more, but well worth it. Ate at the hotel bistro on 3 nights. Perfectly good food at very reasonable prices. Made very welcome by all staff. No negative views on the hotel. (advice for other travellers; You need to negotiate on taxi fares from KL to Melaka. Cost us 400MYR out, but only 250MYR back to airport) |

A great hotel with all commodities very well located right in the heart of Mellaca. Some works are going on for still a lot weeks (months). So from 9 am to 17 pm you might well enjoy drilling noises that will not allow you to stay in the room. Better to know it if you intented to take advantage of the room during the day. |
