Excellent value, very central in an exciting and historic city, large rooms with full facilities, beds a bit too hard, great views from higher floors. An excellent hotel. Perhaps, as the hotel clearly has a lot of international visitors, some of the housekeeper staff could be encouraged to learn a little more English. But this is a tiny criticisim of an good hotel.

We was wondering why there's no tissue box at the bedside or at the mirror table for convenient wise. The worst thing is there's a switch on problem of lighting at washroom. Besides when we call for the engineer to attend us in the morning, he took around 30 mins to come to our room for fixing. Thanks.

The location is very good for holidays and trips. The swimming pool is also very good. It takes 40 minutes to check in and the facilities are quite old, no fridge, tooth brush and wifi access in room. It is also very cold in the night - the aircon is noisy. As it is a 5 star hotel, it not value of money.

Friendly staff and beautiful lobby in my first impression. Requested for non-smoking room, which supposed to be fully occupied, and the staff willingly to upgrade to a bigger non-smoking room (premier) with FOC. Overall the room very clean and spacious. Amenities can be reached by 5min walking distance such as Pahlawan Mall, Hatten Square, Mahkota Parade and even historical place like A'Famosa fort. Service is good and staffs are very responsible. I will definitely recommend my friends to stay here. Insufficient parking especially when I try to check in my room, I have forcibly stop in front of the entrance, around valet parking area and the valet seem rude as well.

Excellent location due to proximity to all tourist attractions in Melaka. Room fittings are fairly aged and refurbishment is probably due soon. Otherwise, value for money.

I like the gym. It is equipped with very good machines and the gym has good ventillation system which made exercise a very pleasant experience. The spa environment was disappointing. Even though female and male spas are suppose to be separated, I saw male customers walking through the female spa corridor nonchalantly. The spa masseurs are friendly enough but seemed inexperience.

We stayed in a Club room and it was spacious and well furnished. Broadabnd internet was available and a DVD player was provided. There were two balconies with panoramic view of the city. Breakfast buffet was a good spread and despite the school holiday crowd, the hotel staff was very efficient and friendly. On the second day, housekeeping only showed up at 3 pm.

There was a daybed so the children used them during the night and the view from the 20th floor was spectacular. The consierge staff gave good and correct advice when we asked for direction for a halal seafood restaurant. We did not get breakfast for the stay. Would prefer breakfast such stays pls the next time we stay:)

It is very convenient as it is very near to shopping centre as well as Jonker walk. With the price of RM300 per room per night, I will prefer the room rate to be included with buffet breakfast, and free Wi-fi

Actually this is the first time we stayed at Equatorial Melaka. Checking in was fast as the staff was very efficient and even upgraded us to a newly renovated room. The locations is very strategic with Dataran Pahlawan as neighbour and most shops is within walking distance. Room was spacious and clean. Checking out is also a breeze and we will definitely come back and stay.

The location of hotel is good with surroundings of shopping centres and food gourmet. To feedback the door access to the rooms have difficulty to open. Water from the tap are not strong enough.
