“The room was excellent. We had family room as we were travelling with our children, and this was very spacious and clean and modern. Staff were good about letting us have late check-out as we had a late flight and also storing our bags. Great location, close to lots of shops and public transport. The buffet breakfast was reasonably priced with lots of choice.”

Reception staffs are friendly,location is superb .easy access to many shopping plaza and good affordable food round each corner. The toilet sanitary is in bad shape,need urgent repair.Room 926 toilet was flooded during the stay and have to change room.Very inconvenience.Flushing system in the 3 rooms that I hv booked is in bad shape.

Good location but that was all. Poor soundproofing- I could hear everything the upstairs neighbour was doing! The room looked out on a black courtyard. The air conditioning took twenty minutes to switch off!

Easy access to the shops. Good value for money. The revolving restaurant needs upgrading. The carpet was freyed and the sofas were old and dirty.

Food is great. I had to change room two times. Cockroaches spottted in the first room near the tv, and as for the second room, my sleep was interrupted as repair works were made on the top level - was not informed earlier about it and I had to make a call to the reception to enquire about it. Making things worst, staff members were also unaware of the repair works. Seriously? And oh, the food selections for lunch buffet were great, BUT many small insects were spotted on the condiments for "ais kacang". Didn't complain though as I think I have had complained enough in my first two days of stay. THAT WILL BE MY LAST STAY THERE.

The Location is unbelieveable. Internet is free only through booking.com otherwise you will be charged 20 per-day Average in everything but the location.

Location and price Ask for high floor, gave low floor. Ask for non-smoking room, gave smoking room. Carpet dirty, never provide slipper. Never provide toothpaste and brush. Very disappointed with hotel facilities. Will not go back to this hotel again.

The man attendant was so helpful but the lady attendant was not cooperative. At 11am with family & child wanted to early check in was not possible said by the lady attendant but after 5 mins when they went to that very gentle man , he had managed the same . Such person will raise the name & fame of the hotel. Thanks to that person who had finally arrange two rooms for us for early check in. Because after 8 hours travel with child we can expect a little bit favour from the hotel that was happend only possible for that gentle man. For this person I would like to say all the people of traveling to Malaysia would like to stay at Federal Hotel . Thanks.

The staff allowed me to do an early check-in (8 am). Good breakfast buffet. Fun revolving restaurant at the top. Very well located - the area around is burstling with activity. The hotel is an old lady - even though refurbished some time ago, this can be felt in a few ways. Still ok but not the best value for money in town.

The furniture and in general it looks seems to make it look old (It is over 50 years in existence). But a great price for the location. Lots of shopping just a 5 min walk, for the cash rich and also for those not very fortunate. The carpets and furniture make it look shabby.

Location, room. AC was not working - we could not switch it off. Staff could not fix it either, so they opened the window. It was facing turbines and was noisy. Since we could not close the window without calling personnel, it was open whole time.
