Friendly staff, clean and nice location.
Very small room, no window and the fan is blowing in your face all night. Also worn bed.
The bathroom was very clean, especially considering the amount of people that use it. People in the dorm were very quiet at night. No problems at all.
The beds in the dorm are terribly uncomfortable. It would be great to have wifi on the rooftop.
Fern loft staff are so friendly and helpfull. The staff that wes there when i checked in put me on an all female room even if i book in a mixed room. Thats without me having to add another money. Thank you fernloft enjoyed staying for 2 nyts..quite place to stay and safe.
Roof with beautiful night view and toast breakfasts. The hostels stays nearby China town - in the city centre - a 15-30 minutes walk from all the sightseeing views of Kuala Lumpur.
Do not take a room without windows. Maybe for You it is convenient - but, actually, it is not good in general. A room with a window costs 10 RM more but it is woth.
The staff were friendly, helpful and open. I felt safe there in the busy city. Great to use computers free of charge. Great to be able to pay to use washing machine and to be able to air dry own washing quickly on rood garden.
The first single room I stayed in and frosted glass window- large- light on in corridor so hard to sleep. Also there was a curatin at end of bed with similar window behind- so all night when the people in the next room had their lights on my bedroom was also totally illuminated. The advert said single room with cable tv and toaster....No! Tv was in shared longe. Toaster is up for whole hostel use on the roof garden.
It is located near the LRT Station and it's very cheap too.
I experienced my first bedbug horror bonanza here. After leaving this hostel, my legs and my forearms began to itch like crazy. I noticed so many red spots on my arms - like a constellation of bug bites. When I checked my legs, I saw the same kind of red patches. It's really disgusting and sad because I know it will itch for a long time. A really unforgetable experience. To the management, please replace the mattresses or hire an exterminator.
staff very friendly, cheap, near lrt station
-Staff was very nice and welcoming. Helpful wit directions, booking of shuttles etc. -Really good location, close to Chinatown, central market, bus/train station+free city bus station -Good value for money
-Beds in 24 bed dorm are uncomfy and 'wobbly' -smell of the room -you might as well skip the free 'breakfast' -clothes comes out of the washingmachine more dirty than they were before
Friendly staffs, near to Pasar Seni LRT station, room is clean, have personal locker in the room, toilet is clean too. Free Wifi. Free coffee/tea+unlimited supply of toast as breakfast.
limited room with window. Need some luck to share the room with good room-mates, suggest to bring a can of air freshener along if available :)
Good staff Cooperative boys Helpful guys Stayed their twice and will stay again when visiting Malaysia. Gaurav, shiral, anand, shrawan are great guys. Did I miss any others ? Quick response for email I sent on late arrival time.
The strawberry jam for breakfast every day. Suggest to have some variety of jam on different days. Not the fault of hostel. Some selfish idiotic hostellers sit at the internet for hours (watching movies) without giving a chance for the other hostellers to check their email, check in for the flight etc. There were two computer machines one of which suddenly goes off. Need to be fixed.
great value for the money, excelent location to every places.
sheet is not too clean.
- staff - cleanliness - smell of the room
Very nice staff. They are very helpful.
Location It is close to the train station
Everything else, the staff when I checked in was rude the other one is ok. The room is different from the one pictured in booking.com. Smelly room, no personal AC just exhaust fan and their so called centralized AC that doesn't really felt like AC but an air blower just to keep you breathing. Dirty Linen with stains and bed bugs! I literally hunt for bugs for the few hours 'til i fell asleep due to exhaustion. It was mentioned that there is 24 hours reception but thats not true, I didn't get my deposit for the room and the towel because no one was there in the reception and i was told to wait until 9 to get the deposit but i'm gonna miss my flight. It was a torture being there! I will never stay there!
helpful staff,Near chinatown, near subway and bus station. good place to stay.
the hotel's banner difficult to see
1. Staff are good 2. Near to public transport 3. Awesome rooftoop 3. Breakfast provided 4. Clean room & toilet I would recommend this hostel to my friend.
1. Toilet little bit far 2. Aircond didn't operate at noon. Only at night. 3. The bed sounds little squeky whenever I move my body. My advice, buy a bottle of WD40 (around RM10) and spray it to the squeky area to solve the problem.
Situation Nice staff
Not clean Not comfortable beds Stairs not lift Poor breakfast
Good location and friendly staff.
Bedbugs everywhere! Not very clean.
Anytime can check in even 3 am
Regret.not comfortable. Not friendly..just not suitable for holiday.small room n have to take walk to go to toilet or to take shower.
Very near to the Pasar Seni station(Chinatown). I stayed in the 24 beds dorm but it was quite comfy.
Guesthouse policy but they cut the air-con 9AM to 7PM. So its getting hot. And the guesthouse was next to the big car parking so sometimes smells petrol so much!
1, near to China town, with 5 mins by walk. 2. near to Pudu station, with 10 mins by walk
1, No one opens the door when I arrived around 14:00. I and another guy have to wait for 10 mins then he left. The door opens until I called their hotel mobile. 2. The bed is dirty and blanket smells so bad. The while pillows in the room are so dirty and full of yellow things. I did not use any of them. 3. The personal cabinet cannot be locked. 4. No hot water in bath room.
behave of staff was good
i do not like moskitos
Staff was very friendly and super helpfull. Location was perfect, right next to the central market and the metro station
Internet not so reliable, beds were squeeky
