The friendliness of staff We only went into the bar once but the service was slow, the waiter took our order quickly but I think someone else made it which took a long time.

The hotel infront the sea. Just sitting inside the hotel you can view the see and all local activities on boat, fisherman boats, orang bajau laut on boat, cargo ship and cost guard and navy ship. The food is good and the staff also a very nice.

Loved the Sulu sea just outside our room window, the view was stunning.The service was excellant. The surrounding of the hotel on side was the market place and the ambience was a little wanting. Not very clean. Not very impressed with Sandakan but loved the hotel.

The weekend afternoon tea was excellent; the buffet food overall was great and we really liked the band in the bar. An adjacent seafront without cockroaches - a rather nicer promenade.

Great, luxurious rooms that were excellently fitted out. Super dooper 24 hour access to the cosy gym. No spa or sauna, but that's a small complaint!

hotel access to harbour bays mall, just walking 2 minit to sandakan central market to buy souvenir,achovies and fresh seafood. please treat us malaysian same as foreigner when we enter door at ground floor since bellboy they will open door for foreigner only.

Room was great and very clean. Very comfortable. Amenities are good. Next to a mall which was quite new. Maybe it was running low occupancy; there was some moisture smell along walkway of the rooms. Breakfast choice is not too bad but most of the food need to wait to be cooked upon order.

Clean and new hotel.. View on Sandakan Bay is beautiful.. Free wifi in all the hotel areas.. Good service at the reception.. Perfect place to use a basis for trips to turtle island and river safari...

Clean and comfortable. Very helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is poor quality and not sufficiently stocked. They ran out of bread and fruit but it was not replaced.

Sea view is beautiful. Within walking distance to shopping areas. Lack of signages to guide guests for directions within the hotel area. No free parking for guests.
