ruime kamers, mooi en schoon hotel

ontvangst bij inchecken. internet werkte meest van de tijd niet op de kamer zwembadpersoneel geeft geen service en te weinig ligbedden de centrale hal blijkt doorgang naar een winkelcentrum en dus erg druk de clublounge was erg druk met veel gillende kinderen. wij nemen juist de clubfloor voor de rust. op booking.com staat dat de kamers een mooi kustuitzicht hebben, maar wij keken uit op het dak van een parkeergarage. volgens het hotel hebben alleen de suites mooi uitzicht, maar dit is onjuist.

Het is echt een top hotel. Gelegen naast een groot overdekt winkel centrum in George Town. De kamers zijn zeer ruim en alles straalt luxe uit en kwaliteit. De restaurants in zowel in het hotel als er buiten zijn perfect en het is een ideaal hotel om een paar nachten te verblijven om Penang te verkennen.

Modern, hip, design hotel. Ruime kamer, overal gratis wifi, gratis water, prachtig zwembad. Kortom, een erg mooi en luxe hotel.

Hotel staffs were very helpful. Also shopping was very convenience because gurney plaza is right next door

A heated pool would be nice for those who wants to have a swim at night

This is my 4th time staying in G Hotel in Penang. The main reason was definitely the location. Close by to town where the best local food can be found, a stone throw away to the infamous Gurney Drive corner where all the Penang delicacies/cuisines are made available under one roof. Not to mention the newly opened Gurney Paragon where mid to high range restaurants are parked in one newly restored & extended heritage building. Besides, staying at the Gurney Drive itself, saved me time to travel along the Ferringhi stretch where the narrow road can be congested and at times, ridiculously jammed up. Of course the hotel itself is modern and the design in the room is well thought through. The service has improved from day one and it has somehow balanced up the cold design in the lobby.

The pricing of their food & beverage. It makes perfect sense with all the competition in the vicinity, they should re-look into making their F&B more happening - readily affordable & appeal to their guests by perhaps not merely dropping the rates, but increase the value for dine in hotel guests.

Lovely stay, nice ambience, friendly staff, clean!

Need some improvements on the drainage - water takes forever to drain.

Rooms were great and staff very attentive, also very conveniently located for shopping and restaurants, I would recommend this hotel.

The only downside were the traffic jams outside, however, this is the norm in Malaysia.

Incredible buffet breakfast, loved that the entire hotel was non- smoking.

Everything was lovely at the hotel, other than the very hard beds.

Attentive staff, great breakfast.

The air cond is too cold and the in-room controller does not seem to work according to the temperature.

Interiors are chic and stylish, the upkeep of the place was splendid, only downside is the traffic jams along gurney road that made driving out and in a chore. Overall it was excellent.
