the location of the hotel. you can easily access the shopping mall. the hotel restaurant also provide good dining the room was not as big as i thought it would be. the diagram of the hotel is not the same as in real life |

The design of the room - it was compact, but very functional, especially the bathroom. Also it was very convenient for passing time in the evening as the 1Borneo hypermall is right next door. Housekeeping should be improved, as we found that the room was not cleaned properly during our 3 day stay. The carpet was also a bit dirty. |

It is convenient as it is where the shopping mall is. The room was too small.We were supposed to get king size bed but got queen side instead. It was dissapointing. It was too noisy as well.The walls were too thin that you could hear noises from outside. |

Right next to hypermall with sufficient entertainment activities. Free and frequent shuttle services to main town. Lack of more shuttle bus during peak hrs (4.30pm). No shuttel service at 5.30pm. Traffic congestion during peak hrs. |

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. It has a modern look The taxi that the receptionist ordered for us tend to take advantage and overprice the rides. |

Convenience to eat and shopping. Staff are polite and welcoming. Room is clean and comfortable. Yes. First the breakfast buffer is almost the same menu for 3 consequitive days. Secondly there is very limited hotel parking lots. |

The pool is a good size and good for a swimming in. Breakfast was great.Staff were very helpful and very polite and friendly Well there are issues with the quality of the rooms and bathrooms, the finish isn't up to standard. They are trying to overcome these issues with their contractors. Rooms a bit on the small side. You need to ask more than once to have issues in your room addressed. |

The hotel is quite new an everything looks nice. Swimmingpoll is very nice.If you want to go shopping this is the place. The hotel is far from the center. They have a shuttle but on fixed times. The suttle to the airport goes 3 times a day, for us wasn't really handy. The music in the hall was too loud. You could hear it very well from your bed early in the morning. |

Some minor mistakes, i.e. misplaced my son's slipper after housekeeping. Had loud music from the room's speaker and only stopped after 2 calls. Expensive taxi fare, not based on meter but negotiation. |

the shopping malls are in the same building...very convenience and the hotel have shuttle bus which is very good I make an order for my sahur menu and would like it to be delivered to my room at 4am, unfortunately I received the food around 5am and with wrong menu. I was so dissapointed and when I asked why, your staff said that they are very busy....which I cannot accept. Another ocassion, my husband was locked in the bathroom and the sliding door cannot be opened and finally it was opened by your staff. Just imagine if my child was locked in there.......for sure it will be our last visit to your hotel. |

Grand Borneo is a relatively new hotel, located at 1Borneo hypermall. The convenient location brings wonders to my 2nd honeymoon with hubby. Though KK lifestyle is rather laidback compared to other countries, we felt relaxed and rejuvenated during the short trip. Though the TV had some connection problems for several times but the staff managed to get it back working within minutes. The shuttle bus to airport/city is another value-added service which helped us save alot on transportation costs, considering that Msia taxi fares that has recently increased for almost 30%. Overall a good trip indeed. |

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. the breakfast buffets were superb. the situation was fine - at the enormous shopping mall some distance from the centre of kota kinabalu, but there was a free shuttle bus in and out...restaurants a-plenty were to be found in the mall. |

The hotel had not received our booking so we had to email them out confrmation mail. Our room was dirty. Hotel staff seemed uninterested in service. |

Ta new hotel so everything was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, room was very clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast and dining room were really good although very busy also there was a free shuttle to airport ( though it only goes at certain times) the pool and gym also looked pretty good although we didn't use. Too far from city - outside the hotel you are stuck in a shopping mall, doesn't look like much else was around unless you catch a taxi or bus, but if shopping is your thing you will like this place (shopping in a mall was not our thing). The hotel is really nice but it would be better in the city! |
