The pool was ok for a quick dip The reception staff were not very helpful towards us with regards to helping up with a tour booking we had made before arriving. We didn't have towels after one day of room service "hotel had run out". They also ran out of wifi passwords for several hours and didn't contact us when they had new ones like they had said they would. The area around the hotel us very shady! Not a nice area of kuala lumpur and made us feel very uncomfortable.

The room is clean and make us comfortable to stay in, the swimming pool is clean. This hotel need to do something about their foods. Their breakfast totally sucks. My kids can't even finish up their cereal. For me I can't even put the Nasi Lemak or noodles twice into my mouth. The reception counter staff should put more smile.. They really looked like a robot and don't even dare to look at the guest face when talking..

The Hotel is a 20 min walk from the KLCC and there is a HopOn-HopOff Bus-Station next to it. We enjoyed the clean Outdoor Pool on the 11th floor with really nice view of the skyline. The staff is well organized and help you in any case of inquiry. At our Check-In at midnight the reception staff was quite unfriendly, the breakfast buffet is okay but not very rich in european standards.

Breakfast okay, many Indians stay at this hotel. Breakfast offers fresh fruit, toast, cereals and a lot of warm things that vary every day, E.G. lentils, hash potatoes, beans, rice, sausage, Chinese stir fry noodles, waffles, pancakes, chicken nuggets etc. hotel has a pool and is close to train station Sultan ismail which is only two stops from city centre. Rooms were smelly from previous smokers and smelled like dust. The hotel is tidy but just old ( more than 30 years). The beds are very soft, so sleeping in a double bed is not that much fun for friends... Sourrounding is a bit strange, weird people walk around in the evening and portier told guests were rubbed outside before. So be careful with your bags...

Location, swimming pool This place charging for their rooms more than they should. Its an old hotel, rooms terribly small, bathroom horrible, tv channels make me laugh, internet slow. For the price what we paid we should have had a better place! Try to avoid the grand continental hotel

Breathtaking view from the windows of the city. Helpful and courteous staff. The cozy lanes and pleasant music everywhere. Gorgeous Interiors. Clean floors and unobtrusive in the room cleaning. The main view from the window, luxurious. Premier Deluxe room booked. Since I have a decent amount of money spent in a standard room overlooking the railway. Indignant. Number changed, and again invited to a standard (perhaps superior) room overlooking the city. Only after I had made to enter the Internet, and indicated that reserve rooms under the name "Premier" with two windows, only a very unhappy kind of escorted me to the Premier Deluxe Room. The impression that I begged that ordered. Frankly in the face lied and said the first two times that I'm in the room "Premier". I am outraged by the obvious lies. But apparently it's nuances of living in Asia.

It was important for me to have swimming pool and free wifi at the hotel. And i was absolutely satisfied to find it here. Swimming pool was clean and almost empty. Just few people around. Wifi connection in the room was good and for free. Also the hotel personnel was polite and friendly. The room was pretty old. The furniture is scratched and used. But it was clean. And don' t forget that the price is not so big to expect anything great.

Entire Lobby including Door keeper, Reception, Restaurant, Lifts etc. Room facilities were nowhere near to the level of the hotel. Apart from old furniture, rotten bathroom, sagged mattresses, I experienced following specific difficulties. In a season of summer, when I checked in the room, I found one window handle was broken. I was not able to close the window therefore room became terribly hot. On calling house keeping, technician bolted the window permanently. AC was terribly poor. House keeping suggested me to wait for minimum one hour before telling anything about AC's performance. Lukewarm water was coming in taps. House keeping tried to convince me that it is hot water only. The charging socket was not working. House keeping took 10 ringget deposit from me for providing an adaptor so that I can charge my mobile on TV's socket. With free supply of tea and cofee, when I asked one more suger sachet, room service asked me to pay 3.5 ringget.

The hotel has responded to prior complaints and now has a vegetarian menu, and staff at the desk are professional and friendly. Lack of hot water. Seriously, tepid water was all I got when the cold nozzle was completely off and the hot nozzle was turned all the way open. I chose this hotel specifically because they had bathtubs. For the amount the hotel charges for these rooms (even on discount!) hot water should be available. The hotel certainly isn't spending any money on upgrading the worn furniture or well used linens. While everything was meticulously cleaned, the wear and age on everything was obvious once you left the fancy lobby.
