Close proximity to food and shopping Rates could be more competitive and a family room must include a Queen size and not two (2) Super-single beddings. |

Big spacious rooms. Had complimentary wireless internet access for the Continental Comfort rooms. Although this was not made known to us when we made the reservations. It was only when we tried to buy time for internet access that we were told. So it was a nice surprise. Also, we had housekeeping drop by on the last night of our stay to ask if we needed anything else, followed by a call. But if this could be done on 1st night of stay, it would be more applicable and well received. Furnishings were slightly sparse, as compared to size of rooms. Suggest to put in bigger pieces of furnishings, if not more stuff. |

Please write at least 15 words. Cleanliness in room must be more well taken care of. Towels are too thin and no hand and wash towels provided. Airconditioning in room too noisy. Hotel should provide at least 2 bottles of mineral water for room guest. The electric socket at the kettle area not working. There is a damp smell in the bedroom. |

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast inclusive in the stay was good. The hotel was a little way to walk to the main attractions and the waterfront. |

Good location, quiet & relax place. Within walking distance to city and food restaurant. But be careful the motor thief when walking along the rood side. Do not provide slipper in the room. |

The food for breakfast was good and tasty, although not so much choices but still sufficient enough. The hotel was a little bit dark. Need more lightings. |

The staff were very helpful, they even provide a birthday cake for my birthday which I celebrated whilst staying there. We were booked into a different hotel for a few days later in the week 7 decided to cancel that booking 7 stay at the Grand Continental longer. It was within walking distance of places to eat. The food at breakfast could have been hotter. When told about a plumbing problem in the room it was not attended to whilst we were there & poolside towels were very slow to arrive. The pool was only accessable from the conferance area & was used by people attending conferances. |

The room was a good size. The staff were not very friendly. Also the breakfast buffet was terrible - cold eggs, weak coffee and tea and a lot of the hot dishes dried up and looked very unappetising. When I wanted breakfast there was no brown bread they put it out later each time. |

Nothing much to like. Oh, maybe the banana boat ice cream we ordered on our first night. Cleanliness was ok, but the sheets had some dirt stains. We're vegetarians so we didn't bother with the breakfast buffet although it seemed quite ok from a quick glance. The facade and entrance to the hotel looked like it was a shady establishment. Since there wasn't much to do around the area after dinner was done, we survived on the sole movie channel. The rest of the channels were the local channels which only occasionally interested us. The room service menu was appalling (even for a non-veg). Had it been more extensive, it would have made our stay a lot more comfortable. There were about 6-8 food items and 2-3 desserts and a couple of standard drinks (no alcohol). We tried 2 desserts, the ice kachang was bad, the ice cream (banana boat) was good except the banana was unripe. We never ordered from the room service menu again, instead spent many hungry moments in the hotel, muching on a few muesli bars we had brought from home. |
