The air conditioning and breakfast at weekends.

Staff very amateurish, stale cigarette smelling corridors, ironing boards in the corridor. Dull, dated and poorly decorated rooms . Poor Wi Fi facilities. Aged T/V sets . Having to pay a deposit for your room key !!! No safe or minibar fridge .Hotel needs extensive overhaul.

Near to Kuah Town for those who love shopping. Just take 5 minute driving

There is only 1 electric socket available in a room. House keeping took the towel but no replacement!

Location

Once you open the room door, the odor from the room is stinky. I guess the carpet is very old and thats why the room stinks.

The hotel staff was excellent with me, their was problem with the electricity I inform them and they solve the problem at the same time, the location of the hotel is close to the shopping center and the restaurants, the break fast very good

The staff is not so friendly as expected. The "Grand" Continental does not resemble its grandness. Not so value for money.

Bathroom fixtures very old, and were not functioning well even after the complaint with staff.

The hotel is just about 10 minutes from Kuah jetty. The room is clean so as the toilet. The best is that the hotel just beside the free duty shopping complex - that we can buy chocolates and phyrex.

We can view the beach but can't swim because the beach is muddy. We have to go to Chenang or Pantai Tengah to get nice beaches.

Big and comfortable rooms, good enough for 3 stars hotel. Generaly liked to stay there but won't come back. I'll strongly suggest to stay in any even cheapest Motel but in Pantai Cenang. There is beautiful beach and many activities.

The location is not conveniet. Nothing to eat around, only local spicy food, nothing to do. Nearest beach is Pantai Cenang 25 min drive.

Nothing special about this hotel except that it was clean. The breakfast is decent but not lavish. It is near the end of Kuah town and personally I would prefer to stay in Chenang Beach Town next time if I go to Langkawi. the only reason I stayed there was I got three people accomodation room which I needed to stay with my kids. Other hotels only were offering two peple accomodation rooms.

Location, Clean, facility etc

I traveled with my wife and kid of age less than 7 years, I wish My Kid breakfast also could be free. Un fortunately we did not got a coupen for the kid. And have to buy for her for 15 RM. where Kid of that age will eat very less , and i felt it is expensive.Actually we could share what we are taking in our plates. But the Attendent told we cant share.

Its not value for money as advertise by booking.com.....

First price as promote by booking.com but actually it was expensive. Breakfast is worst compare to other Grand Continental Hotel at Kuantan and Kuala Terengganu. The Malay Roti Canai chef is arrogant or in Malay we could say as sombong,,,, If you feel like General Manager of the Hotel don't take that job....stay in the office....Price of the room at the hotel is not charge as in the internet...and charge me higher than usual........

rooms were basic but comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.

breakfast was below expectations. Very poor choice and low quality. Margarine was served instead of butter, jam was of cheap quality and only one choice of white bread. Limited choice of food.

Small swimming pool . Need to have variety for the breakfast menu.

The hotel in town.. good service and also clean... maybe hotel management could set up one game centre for children in this hotel... and hotel can make money... tq.
