Holiday Inn Melaka    

Really a nice hotel with good and cleanliness environment. The interior are well updated modern style. The hotel should be proud for having a good skill and helpful front desk officer.

The breakfast is good. Swimming pool is beautiful ( but I didn't have time to try). The view is just ok. maybe because we only at 6F. If you want to have better strait view , pls request higher floor in advance.

The wifi is not for free.

The hotel has a bleak anonymity despite the staff's best efforts. It is in desperate need of redesign of the interior in the public areas and the rooms are adequate but anonymous and without the touches that make one feel welcome and not just a source of income.

the service and the staff were so friendly. the food was excellent, the aircon fabulous, and the swimming pool was a delight. providing towels and robes after a swim was a great touch. I liked the daily newspaper and the free shuttle bus also.

Fantastic hotel, very clean. comfortable stay.Everything inside the room is great,I don't usually use hotel's towel & blanket but this time I didn't hesitate to use it 'coz it look so clean & new. Will surely come back again to this hotel. Breakfast buffet, you'll be spoiled for choices. Very appealing swimming pool with the best view. I had a great time staying in this hotel. Great location, too! I hope that It'll remains the same when I come back to this hotel again. Please maintain the place.;))

The access card, always faulty. Shouldn't use it for the lift. Otherwise its the perfect hotel for me.

Their staff are all friendly and warm all the time. My room service requests were attended to fast.

They messed up our booking. I booked a double room with a queen sized bed. Upon check-in however, I was informed that they had run out of double rooms with queen sized beds, and that I would have to make do with the ones with two single beds. I was very disappointed with this and the fact that they obviously had given my room earlier to someone else because I checked in later in the day. After some discussion however, they agreed to upgrade us to an executive room. I also booked a room with a sea view, and sad to say, the view was absolutely nothing to shout about. It did not justify the additional cost for me, so this was overall not such a good experience for me.

slightly out of town, on the wrong side of a motorway, but they make up for that by an excellent free shuttle bus service

The price too expensive compared to facility provided

Its location is near to the hotspots in Melacca town, by shuttle or taxi. Holiday Inn is clean and we like the sauna and steam time we had as a family (all girls!)

Price could be a bit lower, due to its small room.

tania : the staff who gave me strait view w/o paying extra the carpet : beautifully green n clean the smell : the room so fragrance the shower: top shower is awsome the pillow case: its creative n clean the swimming pool: for my toddler n teenagers the TV channel : it's variety n clear the complimentary coffee n tea: they're delicious! n last but not least : the praying mat is ready I ENJOYED STAYING AT HOLIDAY INN!

The duty manager Irene Ee is professional, she apologist after hearing what have happened and told me she will settle it and email me the paid receipt. Yes! She did and I have received it. Many Thanks to Irene's help, her good attitude made us feel at home.

The Malay or Indian Concierge on duty between 5.30 to 6 pm service very poor. He gave me a rude reply by told me off, he is too busy can not help, I have to go and q to pay the parking fine ticket on my own. He rudeness almost ruin my holiday, it was an unpleasant encounter.

Being asked for my passport straight away, which should have been good day welcome to the holiday inn then the formalities which shoud be informal.
