15 minutes walk to the hotel
As clean as possible in the jungle
Like 10-15 min walk Form the river No breakfast
peaceful environment with natural trees around.
Not match with the photo showed in internet. Photo show two rooms, but only got one room. Room very small, not big as showed in the photo. Water heater was broken.
close to taman negara park
Really far from town and the park. Rom smelled like pee. We turned at the door.
There are limited accommodation options within Kuala Tahan and limited transport in and out. Of the hotels available for pre-booking, this is perhaps the most reasonable.
The rate charged to walk up clients, is around half what you'll pay as a pre-booked guest.
Monkeys jumping in the trees near houses. Parking in front of.
Too far from Taman Negara park. No mosquito nets on the beds.
View, friendliness of the staff, absolutely clean and no insects inside. The rooms have plug-in electric repelents
Nothings, all great.
The bedding and towels were at least clean, as was the room generally. Decent enough place to stay, but only if the price comes down.
The price was far too much for the facilities. I am pretty sure we were the only people staying there, there were ants everywhere (which I think is common to every place in the area) and a small lizard fell out of my towel when I went to dry off after my shower.
This is probable the worst located hotel in Kuala Tahan as it is located outside the village on a hill. The other available hotels are much more conveniently located. The staff did not seem to be very concerned with our wellbeing and were absent more often than not. The state of the room, which was small, moist and dark, was terrible. It was the most unclean hotel room we have ever seen. The bathroom was even worse and sewer smells permeated the entire hotel. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and there were cracks in the wall next to the window and door which allowed mosquitos free entry. We were probably not the first guests with this problem as the walls were covered with dead musquitos and spiders. We decided to leave after the first night and found a room in another hotel which was much cleaner, better located and for 1/3 of the price. Do not book this hotel!!!!
If you don't mind walking a 400 mtr walking to the village this is a budget option. Friendly staff which gave us ice to cool our food.
No fridge and the bathroom realy smells.
Most important, that the AC works, and it did.
Compared to locations we had in other cities for similar money that hotel was rather basic. When I booked the hotel, it was the only available option online (next was in Jerantut, 50 km away). But there is plenty of accommodation in town.
