Strandnära läge,bra poolområde med enklare mat och dryck,bra taxiservice,fria solstolar med handukar.

Hotellet behöver ett lyft vad gäller inredning både i rummen och övriga utrymmen, heltäckningsmattor bör slängas ut omg.För dyr frukostbuffe,(42RM).Åt därför frukost på andra ställen.

Great postion, excellent pool, easy access to shops,rentals of cars and scooters.Freindly staff and a very relaxing enviroment.A great holiday had, hope to return one day.

I found the closing of the doors to other rooms a little loud when being closed, other than that we found it very comfortable

This hotel was in an amazing location, with both places to eat and the beach right next to the hotel. The staff were great and the pool was large. We were a young couple and this hotel was perfect for our needs.

The only thing good is the location - excellent beach

Everything - this is a low cost hotel passing as a star rating just because of the location. Staff is unfriendly, rooms need refurbishment and restaurants are useless. i ignored other reviews and booked - big mistake.

The best part of the Holiday Villa is its position on beach and fantastic huge clean pool. Beds were comfortable. Great club sandwich at pool bar.

The hotel is definitely not four stars. The reception staff appear disinterested, few smiles and not welcoming. This hasn't changed from our stay last year. Housekeeping and bell boys etc were great. Mould in bathroom. Blankets stained, old and dirty looking. No complimentary water, tea and coffee after first day. Considering I paid over $AUS110 plus tax per night I found this appalling. Internet very expensive at 8MYR per half hour!

The Hotel was fantastic, location is near the town centre and they have travel agency inside which you can book all your trips, and very nice swimming pool. also you have a good resturuant just accross the road called Cactus.

Beautiful Location, accessible to shopping areas and tourist destinations. Staff was rude

Staff attitude

Very run down.

The room was clean and comfortable and the beach and swimming pool were lovely. The beach in particular was the hotel's best asset.

We visited in off-peak season and it seemed that the vast majority of staff were definitely treating the time as a holiday of their own. They were totally disinterested in doing their jobs, to the point of rudeness and obstructive behaviour. Judging by the poor quality of the food, I presume that this attitude extended to staff behind the scenes as well. It was a real shame and left a very strong overall negative feel to what otherwise would have been a very nice weekend.

Cleaness

Location is very good, the market restaurants are at a walkable distance. Beach is very close. There is a taxi stand within the premise with printed rates so there is no argument at all about the rates with the drivers. Although the people in Langkawi are the most decent people to deal with. hats off!! The attached tour office organises extremely good budget plans for morning and afternoons. Personally I would recommend everyone to go on these tours by the hotel.

The location of the Night Club is exactly at the entrance foyer and the reception is on the side. This practically speaking should be the other way round. I think the prices are little more expensive.

Beach and the pool

I did not like the cost of the food or drinks the icecream was limited in choice and stock also costly. The water and coffee were not comlimentary as we have had on the mainland hotels. Despite being given assurance tby a Duty Manager hat we would be given this, on several occassions we had to phone up for it. Also on returning to our room on some days at 4.30 the room had still not been cleaned.
