Lake Kenyir Resort & Spa, Taman Negara  

The resort is quiet n peaceful. Great location and the view are breathtaking. Suitable for people who need peaceful and relaxing break from the city.Not suitable for handicap n elderly though.

Can smell the dampness when in the chalet. The bathroom not properly clean and maintain especially the wardrobe is a bit damage n you can see trace of insect in the wood. The floor not properly sweep. Should spray air freshener inside the room. The surrounding area outside chalet is full of uncut grass or weed up to the staircase when entering the chalet. Should keep the place neat and natural at the same time.

The Location.

This place is run down. The rooms are not properly maintain. The price is too high so such budget type of hotel.

The room is spacious. It is well located by the Lake. The balcony overlooking the trees and the lake is very nice. There are animals: monkeys, birds outside. The environment is quiet and nice.

There are ants inside. I left some food on the table and many tiny ants came. The water heater in the bath can only last a short time. It became cold at the end of the bathing. Some places within the hotel premise is infested with mosquitoes. We visited the "extension tower" - a very nice place to watch sunset. But there were garbages lying around attracting a lot of mosquitoes.

Everything!! The food was great, the staff was great, the view was great, the lake was great! Excellent stop if you are doing a tour through Malaysia!! A must do for your trip!!!!

the view iz ok,bt service and reception very bad.. check in nid wait 1hour.. smtimes cal customer service,nobody answer,air-cone nt cool,very hot.nt interesting.

Nice view for the lake view chalet, especially request for the chalet nearer to the lake. We have a wonderful time at the swimming pool with our bb. Nice view from the restaurant & swimming pool. The foods served in the restaurant are good & it's reasonable priced. I didn't go to the resort private jetty which I think that is something I missed. Maybe you can get more infor from the reception on what to do in the resort on the arrival day. There are a lot to do in the resort.

Be prepare for mosquitoes, they are everywhere. We tried to have a morning walk to the lobby & ended up with 5 mosquito's bites. After that we don't dare to walk anymore, we called for buggy. We were waiting for the buggy in our room as we heard the buggy horning in the morning for our neighbor. After 3 calls & waited for 45 minutes, the reception told us that we have to wait outside of our room even if it's raining & there is no umbrella in the room. All the services get very very slow when it got croded. We asked for a mosquito controller medicine & it took almost 2 hrs to deliver when my bb already asleep.

Excellent location, very courteous staff and good choice of lakeside activities.

Poor response to maintenance and housekeeping request. TV was not working throughout our 3 day stay. Housekeeping required 2 or 3 reminders before attenting.

Het resort ligt op een schitterende locatie. Het uitzicht is prachtig. Er rijden continu buggies over het terrein om de gasten van hun lodges naar het restaurant, de parkeerplaats of elders in het resort te brengen. Dat is wel handig, want met de auto kun/mag je niet bij de lodges komen. het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Het resort is erg verouderd, slecht onderhouden, niet schoon. Om bij de lodge te komen, moesten we 92 treden af, die bovendien groen uitgeslagen waren en hierdoor glad. Op een andere manier was de lodge niet bereikbaar. Het terras voor het restaurant was extra vies. In de lodges was geen internet, alleen in de lobby en het restaurant.

Lage des Hotels. Die Chalets am See sind sehr nett und geräumig.

Restaurant-Preise (für malayische Verhältnisse) überdurchschnittlich, Buffet überteuert.

Prachtig gebied

Ga niet voor het culinaire maar voor het uitzicht.
