Location !! very far from twin tower and the down town. Also almost 3 kilometer from nearest train station so you got to use the taxi always. Food wasn't that good really , you can't order from their menue as it's very limited and not international !!

It is a hotel that has seen better days but the upkeep is such that, instead of fading it hits arriving first time guests with an atmosphere that's "retro" and my husband and I fell in love with it. Love at first sight! LOL!!! Service is quick from check-in to check-out and at all times in between. We have seen several reviews that said it is quite a walk to KLCC and that is true. But then there's no need to walk or get a cab just to get to the city center. There are buses a plenty along Jalan Ampang that get you to train stations. From there you can hie over to anywhere, even to the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur and beyond (by proper transport at either KL Sentral or the bus station on Jalan Pudu). A well-stocked grocery store is right beside the hotel and there's a Seven-Eleven a few paces farther away. Those can take care of the need for alcoholic drinks. For non-alcoholic needs, there's a small convenience store tucked in a little corner beside the hotel lobby. And, the Petronas station's store a few paces away also provides some grocery options. Housekeeping left us with no reason to complain. The concierge (s) and the security personnel were always helpful. We had such a good time that we are seriously looking, as our first option, into using hotels of the Lanson chain in trips to other cities where the company has properties, e.g., Singapore, Beijing, etc. And, if we find ourselves returning to KL, we shall be found at Ambassador Row again.

On our first day, the passkey, which worked well on the lift, gave us some trouble in entring our room. But this sometimes happens. It's no big deal. Management may perhaps consider some improvements on the plumbing. The steaks (rib eye) we had at dinner in the Cafe' were tough but, then, so were the ones we had at the Victoria Station Steak House nearby. I must admit, though, that Victoria Station redeemed itself with its lobsters when we returned there a couple of days later.

very nice place to stay with family, many small requirements you can get outside but only they should have more english movie channel. but otherwise no complains very good hotel.

It was really more than what I have expected. The entire room was adequate to good. The staff members were friendly. Even the convenient store operator was very cordial. One may need a car to move around. However, with a little effort - the klcc lrt Station is quite close.

Just a little hitch though - the room is not totaly sound proof. One may hear some noises from the neighbouring rooms. But they were minimal and the tenants were mostly respectable people.

Cozy and comfortable place for family and friends gathering.this is my second time to be here both with my family.even though we are stay around kuala lumpur area, but we took a chance to make gathering at this place, it was really nice place to reunited with your family plus u can go shopping nereby.

Unfortunately Lanson did not provide swimming pool for kids only for adult, and the service even it is not too bad, but it is very slow .it takes about one hour after we request to open the balcony. But after all it is comfortable place

Very spacious Great spa

The reception and spa staff were rude and unhelpful. The only one that was kind was the concierge. The apartment was dirty and noisy . The showers and telephones were all broken and the facilities in the room were awful. We will never return and will tell as many of our friends not to visit the hotel also.
