Huge suite room which equally huge bathroom, at a very reasonable price (including breakfast), very easy access to Danga Bay, city centre and entry/exit highway

i like the suite..so comfortable and feels like you are in your own appartment..the.facilities in the suite also fullfil my needs..all the important things that you need in a house is in the suite..very good right? the breakfast that they provide are also very nice ..many choices of food n beverages.the pool is in cool deco..style..the gym also.

the things that i did't like the most is..when i entered the suite n went into one of the toilet..i can smell exactly like someone has using the toilet but didn't flush!! so smelly!! and the bedsheet and pillow cover doesn't smelled fresh...

Size of rooms.

Disappointing that it was so very nearly really good, and it just needs proper cleaning to be really good. And room rate perhaps a little overpriced. Good location on the main road with a good view overlooking the estuary - but that will change with the building that's underway on the reclaimed land across the road. Easy to see, and therefore to find, with plenty of parking underneath. Cavernous though somewhat spartan foyer, but attentive and professional staff create a great first impression. As requested, room on higher floor and overlooking the estuary demonstrated that staff respects guests' requests. Large room with kitchenette and nicely tiled bathroom, pleasantly decorated but... ...needs maintenance and cleaning. One bed mount's badly torn, but could be fixed with a needle and 60 seconds. The net curtains absolutely filthy black despite the windows sealed shut, obviously never washed since new, and a simple wash would fix their disgusting state. Old TV with badly discoloured picture - honestly, how much is a standard sized LCD TV these days? Bathroom nicely renovated and marble tiled, but original bath is chipped and dirty, bath plug doesn't fit, and knobs fell off the taps - at least clean the rings of sludge from around the bath fittings and hand basin. Hairdryer didn't work, so obviously no cleaning/maintenance checklist in place. In short, an excellent hotel with unusually good staff completely let down by room maintenance and cleaning.

Having had to flash my credit card at the counter. Didn't I already sign up with my card. I don't think this is required because afterall, at the end of the day, the hotel would chase my card if i disappear.

The friendly and helpful lady CSO at the front desk who was helpful and very polite.

Room was spacious, in an alright state, staff were reasonably friendly. Good variety of breakfast foods, both local and international cuisine.

Furniture was old and could use maintenance. Bathtub needs to be replaced as it was somewhat on a dire state. Shower pressure was a little to low.

The location was strategic and view was by the seaside.

The sound of vehicles passing by disrupted the quiet atmosphere of the room at night. The staff at Coffee House was not friendly especially the cook at the egg counter for breakfast. Lack of courtesy.

Facilities - the pictures don't match the rooms. Our room had handles hanging off, one pool not operational - clearly had put up images of a renovated room and we got the un-renovated room & paid good money for it!

The reception were helpful and knowledgeable.

Upon check in, I discovered the room were dirty and the floor were dusty. I need to call the housekeeping to clean the room again.
