Location is good & convenient. Despite staying for 5 nites (with 1 nite at deluxe higher room rate charged & 4 nites at standard room), I was not given the privilege to upgrade from a standard room to deluxe which was requested at point of 1st reservation with full payment paid upfront online for 4 consecutive nites. I have to move to a standard room the next day after staying for 1 nite at the deluxe room with no consideration given despite my 2nd request at the check-in counter. |

Melia Hotel commands a good prime location just opposite Time Square and adjacent to Sungei Wang Mall. Good vicinity to vegetarian restaurants and other food outlets. Good spread of breakfast buffet. Good gesture of hotel staff, nice and clean room and good showers. Highly recommended for business, short break and family travellers. |

Conveniently located by Imbi monorail station. Buffet breakfast was excellent having a wide selection of Asian & European foods, this was included in price although booking.com said it was not. Room was spacious with tea/coffee making facilities & minibar, bbc world & bloomberg plus local stations on tv. Although we requested and paid for a late checkout our keycards (necessary for the lifts as well as the room) were not extended for the late checkout leaving us stranded on the 9th floor until another guest came along. |

I love the location, convenience to all the shopping centres close by. value for money. The only thing I found is that we had to wait and quege in the line for the breakfast tables to eat in the morning when we got up late.The phoning out of the hotel line was bad reception and I still have to pay for it without talking because I made the call. (not fair) |

The location is superb.. good for a short stay in KL, can move around the shopping areas without taking any public transport. Times Square is just opposite the hotel, very convenient, we had a mid-night movie at Times Squares without the need to take any transport home after the show. |

All the staff I have encountered gave excellent service. Even from the concierge to the doorman, they can anticipate my needs. eg, if I needed to store my luggage when I was checking out and if I needed a taxi when I was going out and if I needed direction to my destination. The room is very spacious and clean, with all the amenties provided The dining area for breakfast is way too small to accommodate all the hotel guests, hence there is quite a long queue to be seated, even if you are early. This is not good if you are in hurry. The other alternative they provided is to eat by the pool which is not a good idea, as it is outdoor, it can be quite dusty from the fumes of the traffic in the street below. Moreover, there is no hot station to cook/serve eggs, pancakes, noodle soup, etc. On top of that, I feel it is quite intrusive to be eating breakfast with full view of the guests swimmers who are barely attired. Also, although I have requested for the cleaning of the room, the towels were replaced even when I did not put them in the bathtub. Cleaning staff Not eco-friendly |

The location is excellen. Monorail station Imbi is next door. Lots of shopping centers and restaurants around. Nice view from upper floors. Swimming pool looks OK. Breakfast was good. Piano bar is nice, live music on evenings. Very functional, but nothing more. Travel agent near reception was not very helpful and knowledgable. |
