Escape the busy city to recharge and rejuvenate at Merang Suria Resort located on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, offering cozy rooms and a wide range of recreational facilities.

Elegantly decorated with Balinese teak furnishings, rooms offer a comfortable and cozy atmosphere to relax in after a long day of activities. Fitted with all the standard amenities needed for a pleasant stay, rooms overlook the sandy white beach and blue waters of the South China Sea.

Situated in Tanjung Rhu Tapai, the hotel is surrounded by lush tropical greenery, charming villages and a palm-fringed beach. Just a 35-minute drive from Kuala Terengganu, the state's capital, you can choose to relax by the beach or be adventurous with the variety of activities available.

Take part in the obstacle course that has rappelling, zip line and high ropes or take up jungle trekking and a night walk. It also has numerous sports at the ready that include volleyball and kayaking. Merang Suria even has karaoke facilities and a children's playroom.

Dine at the Bunga Padi Restaurant, which serves a selection of Malaysian and Western favorites. You can choose to dine indoors or on the breezy terrace while enjoying the sunset.

The receptionist is friendly and the staff are always there with a service to serve. The room that we got is fantastic Clean and free from mosquito may varies on each individual. HAHAHA....but overall I'll give it 2 thumbs up. Not bad for a budget hotel. :) During night it seems that Karaoke is the only form of entertainment but there's only 1 room for karoake....They should build more room :) Did you find this review helpful?	8.3

La Struttura era "stranamente vuota". Solo pochi ospiti, nonostante il periodo (metà agosto). "Quasi vuoto". Anonymous Young couple Netherlands August 13, 2011	I couldn't enjoy anything about Merang Suria Resort Unfriendly, even rude personnel, food served (buffet) has been standing outside coolers for hours, there were flies all over the food. The ice in my glass was brown, dirty towels in the room (brown stains). Booking.com said there were only 3 rooms left, well, the resort (and it was big), was completely deserted. Anonymous Mature couple Jordan December 29, 2011	You can spend some mony to clean the dirty beach beside the resort that will give grate image of the resort that will cost you less than one labor work and you can notice that the waves even carry dirty and plastic empety bottles to the resort.beside that you can work salt water swiming pool like sutra resort.good luck and hope best for you.
