Merdeka Palace Hotel & Suites  

We had a wonderful stay, the rooms and facilities were very good. The staffs were very helpful, courteous and friendly. Overall, the hotel is worth for money.

Spacious Apartment, good food, clean, comfort dan value for money

The hotel location is very great, very easy access to most places. Security is extremely excellent. Staff extremely accomodating to request for extra pillows and blankets. Staff comply to request very efficiently and extremely prompt which I must greatly compliment. Staff are also very friendly and ever helpful. Otherwise the hotel is a good stay and I was recommended about the hotel .

Breakfast should have more variety and food is rather poor. Could be better. We booked the hotel through the internet but was not informed that the booking was based on the cost ++. Was quite shocked to know that it wasn't based on nett price.

The breakfast is good and the potter is helpful

Its quite an old hotel and need to be repainted esp the door and wall, the mattresses are really old ones, the room I'm staying is very small, given a choice with the same rates, I would take other hotel in kuching like grand continental

Massive miscommunications happening too frequently. It gets really annoying. The minibars in the rooms never ever worked. Room service is sloppy, and takes repeated calls to remember our orders. It is not quite a good location as compared to the other 5 star hotels in the vicinity. Not that you can help it on this one anymore anyway.

Suka kerana biliknya sangat sesuai dan comfortable. Layanan yg diberikan adalah baik. Tampat parking juga memuaskan.

The air condition was too cold esp in the main room, where I cannot adjust the temperature.

The view of the surrounding, the hotel location, the staff, the facilities, near to shopping area, the surounding view.

It's in a good location with safe car parking if u r traveling on land.

Most of the things need to be replace.. The hair dryer, the water kettle, the tv n there's no fridge..

We can walk to Chinatown and Esplanade fairly easily. The hotel provides free shuttle service to The Spring shopping mall which is very good as the mall is quite a distance and it's harder to get a taxi for 6 persons (you'll need to board the special blue executive taxi) and there's a good variety of food served during breakfast.

The cleanliness of the hotel is not up to standard and all the windows in the 3-bedroom suite have molds growing on the outside. Hence, the beautiful view of the Astana and the "Dewan Undangan Negeri" from the room is blurred and marred. Although, breakfast was good but one has to be careful with the bread served as some were pretty stale and spotted a few slices with mold growing on them and told the waiter to get rid of them.

The breakfast buffet was sufficient in range.

The room was small and the windows faced the carpark but it was acceptable for a short stay.of two nights.

Nice spacious apartment suite, ideal for families. Good secure car parking.

Two bedroom appartment has a lot of space. Breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Location nearby Chinatown and waterfront.

No fridge in appartment!
