Clean, very relaxing, perfect beach. Nice meals and good barbecue.

Bit of noise from nearby road.

Great location, walking distance to rest and spa,and airport. Booked the special package with upgrade to club lounge. It was terrific, great staff, great food, nice and quiet. BBQ seafood on the house with heaps of seafood, staff were great,doorman and receptionist extremely helpful

It was a great stay in Meritus Pelangi. We were welcomed with the warm smile. Mr.Ramlee was very helpful in arranging the whole whole stay in the resort. front desk staff miss.Zarifah was very warm. I would recommend my friends and relatives.Thank you Mr.Ramlee!!

Great location

There are currently renovations going on which means one of the pools can not be used and the spa has been relocated.

1St of all I would like to thank the resort staff for their hospitality and trying their best to make me and my family happy and comfortable. And special thanks to Mr. Hasril who work at the reception for solving all the problems during check in. I would strongly recommend staying in this resort

Club lounge food not always available, once finishef they dont refil for ages.

Staff very friendly and spoke English well. Location was excellent, close to the airport and our room was handy to the beach. Swimming in the sea was great BUT jellyfish are a problem, however not duringnour stay in early April.

Our bed and pillows too hard. The rooms very noisy if connecting rooms occupied. It is a children based Resort which as a couple was not ideal. If we could not swim in the sea then the pool area is very small.

Excellent staff. Food & dringks optins and facitiies were good and we enjoyed the Beach view room..Would prefer to stay in the same hotel next time

This is a picture perfect resort. Excellent food, excellent staff, very comfortable rooms that you can relax in all day long. The beach is empty and you have space to be alone. People leave you alone here and I can't find a fault at all. This resort is not trying to be anything. It's is simply a clean, tidy, relaxing traditional Malay resort. We will be back. Very multicultural resort with many people from Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

Downside....tough to pick anything but the airport is close so planes fly over frequently. Not so bad.

I don't know what to say about this amazing and wonderful resort, staff is very kind and cooperative, location is perfect, service is super, restaurant is excellent and finally I confirm that every thing was better than my expectation.. it is really great. I recommend highly this resort as the best one in Lingkawi.

- the type of food served did not match with my requirements as it it mainly local foods with specific taste. - a lot of insects and lizards in the resort which may be unavoidable in such a place.

Swimming pools are large and have good kids facilities. Food was pretty good. Decent selection at breakfast and beach side bar is great but food and drink overpriced in bars and restaurants. Great location on the beach and close to nearby bars and restaurants.

Room and particularly bathroom quite tired so felt overpriced.

Staff were fantastic and for once I can really say that the resort food was very good and the nightly BBQ is a must. Also they have the Meritus Club lounge which is very good value for money.

Location

Food is way overpriced. I figured out the price of eating four meals at any nearby restaurant equal one in this hotel. A bottle of soda is 16 RM. any other local shop is 1.5 RM.

I have stayed in many other 5 star hotels in malaysia, especially in Langkawi and the one thing I would like to comment is:- The mini bar. The idea of replenishing, is good, and the management need not hold us back to check their mini bar when we are checking out!

Very goog location just beside the seaside, very nice bathroom especially the raining shower tap.

Staff were friendly but not helpful. On check in no details of breakfast given, free dinner booked for us without no one informing us, we asked on brochures on activities in the area and were asked to check on internet!
