Excellent staf... very polite, very helpful. I never normally stay in a cheap hotel like this, but as most hotels were full this time i had no choice.... I was pleasantly supprised. |

The staff are very helpful and nice, the room is quite good and there is a balcony where I can see a city view, so I quite like this hotel. Actually, the hotel is quite difficult to find at first, especially when you first come to Penang and you are not familiar with the roads and streets there. |

I had a good stay there and the Wifi is free and really works, fast too. Breakfast on the Roof garden relaxing with healthy western breakfast and ample food. Have a good view of the sea too. The lobby furniture is cool. |

Counter staff very helpful, hotel not crowded, can do on line booking with reasonable price, adequate basic services, value for money. Very limited breakfast menu, poor TV reception. Hidden location, no hot water. |

Availability of Astro ESPN enables me to watch football matches. The room, toilet and corridor feels stuffy. |

Cheap hotel close to Georgetown city centre and hang-out area. Good for backpackers, great rates for a room with ensuite bathroom, breakfast and airco. Do not go here if you are looking for something fancy. |

Hotel Mingood staff are so good expecially MR.Arthur . Their hospitality make our stay a very pleasent weekend although we got a very bad experience in Penang . The breakfast , we prefer heavy breakfast like fried rice or fried mee etc but Mingood hotel only serve us continental breakfast . |

I was very grateful for the excellent English ability of the staff. I was overjoyed with the ease and simplicity of getting a tourist visa for Thailand. Every staff member was very friendly. I am alleergic to wheat flour and bread. The breakfast cereal gave me an allergic reaction also, so my breakfast was only orage slices. |

The breakfast arrangemts were good and the service helpful. The room service was also pleasent. The room is in need of a coat of paint. The reception staff were not interested in the hotel guests and seemed to regard us as something of an imposition. A smile and a ready "hello sir" would go down well. Instead we were often ignored and had to attract their attention in order to get served. |

For a 2* so we got what we expected. Wifi good. A hotel to put your head down in and not to stay in rooms too long. Basic breakfast included. Cracked sink, stained carpet, worn sheets. No bed linen change in 3 days.No temperature control of aircon so had to switch off at night. |

The staff were friendly and I was able to check in early without a fuss. They offer free wireless internet for guests. It is a little out of the way from the action in Georgetown, but walking a few blocks is all it takes. |

Good location in Georgetown and good price. Very basic hotel as a place to stay, not particularily to enjoy the hotel itself. |

Friendly , warm and courteous staff. A small kettle for boiling water would be better instead of hot flask provided. The aircond stopped at 3am and as we are not familiar we struggle to get it started again. I think the timer should not be on. Sorry 2 ladies not good at gadgets. |
