Atmosphere is good, staffs are helpful, in the side road location, but quiet and walkable for many directions. Water flow sounds makes you chill.

-no soap in the bathroom -the speed of speech of the customer service was too speedy
Clean, Central location , heritage feel
The room I get is big and feel comfortable. Sunlight cannot shine into my room makes me feel want sleep more.
The toilet is bit small. And the water from first toilet will flow to second toilet.
Nice traditional house. Close from restaurants and activities.
The room was very small and under furnished.
- Friendly staff - Centrally located in the CBD and good food is just within walking distance -Value for money
- Thin wall between rooms
Very friendly, helpful honest staff. Clean comfortable dormitory.
Clean and big rooms.
It is to expensive for what you get. In the closed by surroundings rates are lower and the accomodation level is almost the same. Very noisy too.
The old building and the antique furniture.
Misleading information on the free parking. The air conditioning is not cold.
location at chinatown near to major attractions, basic ,clean and comfortable room, value for money

Toilet over shower, no butter or milk at breakfast.
Decoration muntri house...so classicc..
The location is good in terms of sightseeing. You can easily walk to all the major sights in Georgetown. The building itself is lovely and traditional. Breakfast was simple (toast, tea/coffee) but tasty enough. The staff were helpful when you had a question for them.
I didn't like the fact that there are no staff around from midnight until early morning. The night before I left the guy behind reception kindly ordered me a taxi to take me to the bus station at 6am. As a lone female traveller, I did not want to walk the 20 minute journey at that time by myself. The area can be unsafe at night. I waited the next morning and no taxi turned up. When I unlocked the door of the guesthouse to go outside there was a drunk man trying to get in. Being on my own I was very scared and I asked him to leave as he wasn't staying at the guesthouse. Basically he was trying to get inside to sleep. As the taxi didn't show up I had to walk anyway...with keys in my hand in case I was attacked. I looked back up the street and someone let the drunk in anyway. If this is what happens during the night/early morning then I'm afraid security measures here are not good. If someone had been on reception I could have had another taxi called and some help in dealing with the drunk man trying to get in. I would suggest the guesthouse reconsiders their position on this, particularly for female guests.
The building and foyer are beautiful in the Chinese heritage style. The common areas were well organized, an WiFi good.
The single rooms are not air conditioned. They have air cooling units - the hot air is carried out of the room in a large full length metal tube, which heats up the room negating the effect of the unit, making the room hotter. The rooms are created and furnished as cheaply as possible. Staff and management were professional, the owner is unbelievably miserable!
Traditional clan house, building really interesting. Rooms absolutely huge, comfy bed. Air con and fan. Walls very thin, so if like us you have an overexcited lady next to you who talks very loudly and laughs until 2am you may be a bit annoyed! Free tea and coffee internet good
Only 2 bathrooms/showers for the whole place (which seems bit illogical when the place is so big and spacious) so you may have to wait to use. They are very cramped so bit difficult to keep your clothes dry and shower. Didnt get hot water, very luke warm Breakfast very basic, white bread, peanut butter and jam.
Very quite, near food places
The room is very dark, littel lights and hot. The ari -conditional is very bad
very good localisation, good internet, breakfast in the morning and you can eat as much as you want. Calm place, big space. Iron and desc for ironing available. And - very cheap!
in my room there was a window, but no light from there, only light from electricity
Very friendly people and nice location near to food and shopping and near Penang road and KOMTAR.Free coffee tea all day and good wifi connection
The room space, the ambiance, the wifi area, the quiet environment. The rustic design.
I like surrounding and neatness
Appear More used condoms were inside bathroom
