We were amazed at the quality of service at this hotel. We'd made a mistake with our booking and the staff at the front desk were incredibly accommodating and kind. Also the staff throughout the hotel were great. We also thought the facilities in the hotel were great and a great price for a place of this standard.

Size of the rooms & location

Checking in as a group was very confusing & unorganised. As the booking organiser, all the rooms were listed as me, rather than the individuals that were travelling with me. The billing & charging of the room rates & transfer cars was also a very confusing process.

We choose the Executive suite to give us more room than just a standard hotel sized room. The suite was spacious, clean and I would say basic furnishings. It suited our needs walking distance to eateries, night life, shopping, petronas towers, short taxi ride to china town (around Aud$3-5). We where on the 28th floor facing the towers and enjoyed the vista with the floor to celling windows. The hotel is undergoing some renovations at present but this did not affect our stay as we where on the otherside of the hotel. The hotel needs a little face lift as it is a little dowdy but if you are looking for a very reasonable price hotel suite with fabulous views and convenience it is the ideal hotel

Everything was excellent, the room, the food, the staff everything. I usely stay in a far more expencif hotel but that I will no longer do since this was far better than th crownplaza

Even I made my advance booking for almost 3 weeks and requested for the preferred room for my children , they cannot give assurance. Thus, you need to air your sentiments before they will offer an alternative for the requested room (Twin Tower view) as you arrive . Further, the Executive Suite room was not that comfortable and not as big as it was advertised. The bathroom is fine however, the structural flooring is defective due to the water overflow outside every time you take the shower and makes your bubble bath. As it turned out, the carpet got wet and caused unusual odor. This made our entire stay uncomfortable (wet carpet). The Luna bar seemed to be a night club due to its restrictions at night as if for adults only. Lastly, the swimming pool is salty... unusual ! not as beautiful and awesome as I expected. You cannot take your breakfast there, so it defeats the purpose for the children to enjoy swimming. But most of all the food is delicious served Soi 23.

the worst part is no free brakfast... they will charge seprately.. and the variety in the breakfast in also not pleasing as compared to other hotel like rennaince(a fully packed hotel 100% satisfaction)

The deluxe suite was nicely appointed, very spacious and comfortable. Views from 27th floor were good. Swimming pool on top floor good for cooling down.Staff were helpful and polite. good value for price paid.

I stayed at the Park Royal 2 weeks before which is in Bukit Bintang which is great for restaurants and bars etc at your doorstep. The Pacific Regency is located near the KL Tower so it is a good 10-15 minute walk to a monorail station. Nothing close by so you would have to take a cab to get anywhere and traffic in KL is extremely bad. Location was a bit of a letdown but I should have checked the area first. Apart from the location it's good place to stay. then I am only comparing to one other hotel so it might suit others.

Good location and neat and clean.

The "non refundable"policy. We had stayed at the hotel for 3 nts but paid for 4 nts.However,we left our cooking items valued at $NZ20 to return and spend 1 more nt on our way back on 20th April.However,our flight from Ireland to Amsterdam was delayed and we missed our connecting flight toKL. We had to transit and return to Auckland the same day and it was beyond our control.Under such circumstances,we feel that the hotel should consider their refund policy and refund travellers in genuine cases like ours.Due to this we will NOT recommend others but advice against advance booking at Pacific regency.
