They did not follow the rent showed on Booking.com and charged us 20RM extra because we booked family suite (as they told us). No soup or Towels available. No elevators. AC was not working perfectly.. i found cheap & luxury hotels in KL in less price. Internet / WiFi is very poor and only available in street/or booking counter.

dirty, scary and in very poor conditions. the door of the bathroom was wrecked. the aircon had a bad smell and probably fungi. the stair to the rooms was really narrow and hard to climb. the room key was really hard to take out once opened. the tv and the general furniture was probably 25 years old. they have no safe even at reception. good to shot a horror movie. just dont go there, unless you have a taste for awfulness.

I like Padua Inn wherein it is just the opposite side of the place where the group attended wedding reception at Parkroyal. Switches are located in one area for lights and ceilling fan. There are no label and tendency is to switch all of them in order to find the right switch. Also power outlet has individual switches, I'm not sure if this is a standard safety requirement for Penang.
