La struttura è minimalista e vecchia, ma viene venduta come particolare perchè costruita con materiale povero e di recupero. La pulizia è carente sia nelle parti esterne che nella camera, ove viene effettuata solo se richiesta. I prezzi sono elevati rispetto alle offerte della zona. La colazione è basica. I costi dei trasferimenti sono eccessivi, tranne quello su Sepilok che viene fornito gratuitamente.

Abbiamo molto apprezzato la semplicità e l'accuratezza in ogni dettaglio, l'utilizzo di materiali riciclati o il cambio nella destinazione d'uso. Padelle diventano lavandini, bancali altalene e grandi rocchetti x cavo si trasformano in tavoli. Inoltre le pareti dei lodge sono scorrevoli e gestibili a proprio piacimento. Un posto davvero incantevole di giorno e di sera.

Non c'è nulla che mi sento di criticare, soprattutto visto il prezzo davvero contenuto.

I liked the wonderful white sheets,the laid back atmosphere,the obliging staff. I liked the accommodation and the area to eat great food and meet other travellers.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Mmm, the food, the people..... Everything! This is an absolute must stay when traveling through Sabah to enjoy nature and that comes with it...try the private hut, it's worth it! The free shuttle to the orangutan reserve, and free pick-up service.

The natural setting was so tranquil and peaceful.

Very quiet location in nature. Nice common area. Rooms were clean and had character. Pick-up from junction and drop-off at Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center was also very convenient.

f you like the pseudo-service of the so-called 5 * resorts this is not the place for you. If you want to enjoy "back to nature" basics ~ WOW, what a great place to stay. A little hard to find, but in an absolutely beautiful "jungle" situation (if you can get over all the disgusting Palm Oil Plantations that you have to endure in getting to the area). Basic wooden "huts" on stilts, but with aircon and fan and plenty of hot water. A balcony that overlooks what is left of the jungle and an almost outdoor shower add to the charm of this magic place. Breakfast and dinner were more than adequate ~ and as an added bonus gave all the guests a chance to get together and share the day's adventures. No TV, of course (nor fridge), and don't expect too much wrt to the wifi. Most definitely recommended

Palm Oil Plantations and the destruction of the natural habitat of all those wonderful creatures that try to survive despite money-hungry homo-sapiens.

Friendly staff and view over the jungle.

Flimsy locks on the doors. No fruit available the first night of our stay. Lack of adaptors for the rooms. Poor wi-fi service. Signs and enrtance drive rundown.. Food served cold when it should have been hot and often overcooked (fish and chicken).

Excallent location and an excellent range of activities and tours to choose from. Between trips it's easy to stay at the lodge, relax and take in the incredible views of the rainforest. It's very eco-friendly, built from natural resources, and you shower with the wildlife - brilliant! The staff are welcoming and helpful and the evening curry is delicious. Overall there is a very nice atmosphere about this place and I certainly hope to go back for a longer stay in the future.

I loved it! Staff great and willing to assist you with anything you need. I loved the cabin we slept in, the view was magnificent.The atmosphere at this retreat is fantastic.Would love to return one day.

The location

When we did a night walk at Sepilok we arrangged for the lodge to pick us up but they never and we were left stranded fortunately the park ranger gave us a lift back

Really excellent place to stay, can't recommend it enough. For the price it is one of the nicest hostels I have stayed in, great location in the middle of the Borneo jungle. Staff are really friendly and helpful, and assist you in sorting out your trips. Dorm room was great, clean white sheets and great shower and toilet facilities. Would definitely recommend to all backpackers.

Loved the room and the friendly staff. The view from the room was great and relaxing.

The set menu and service of the food is average, the meals basic and being far from other restaurants you dont have many options

It was a wonderful place to stay, very relaxing, friendly staff and great rustic feel to it! I highly recommend this place to people looking for a peaceful relaxing place to unwind and chat to fellow travellers. Food was great and the views over looking the rainforest whilst relaxing in a hammock are priceless! You have to stay here!!!

The location and the rooms are beautiful and in the middle of the forest. It is an amazing place to relax, enjoy the nature but also meet other travelers. Staff is friendly and always willing to help. We had a good time there and it worth the money spent there.
