I have travelled to Malaysia and KL so many times over the years, and have got used to its ways. I always look at KL as being two cities, firstly it is a city of modern skyscrapers with people living and working within the highrise buildings, however, to me it is also a Lampong Village as the locals and tourists eat and relax at the ground level. Transport is good around the city with very little trouble getting to all the tourist sites, Lastly, the range of food from Asian to Western food is well scattered for with Jalan Alor just a short walk from Jalan Bukit Bintang being crowded with Westen and Asian eating together across the range of food outlets.

Kuala Lumpur has great food and with reasonable price, shopping is also great because there is various great and nice shopping malls/centers, major sightseeing places/tourist attractions are not far away from the city center. Its weather is humid hot (hot is normal but it combines with humidity then is different thing)

Was hoping for a good town for kids but PLAYGROUNDS were outdated and not multiage appropriate. We found the Petronius Science Discovery Center to be a great 2.5 hours! Bonus was the grocery store in the Suria KLCC mall (level C) for stocking up on breakfast items. The aquarium was weak and so overall we’ve had better family trips in other cities. Hold on - just remembered the great library at the Islamic Art Museum- super kid friendly and spent 1+ hour there while mom walked thru the museum.

Most of the thing we need to see is in the city center (Temples, Mosque, Parks, Shopping Malls, Night Markets...).
Public Transportation is good. But Grab is highly recommended if you travel with family (less walking, duh).
The food is good overall. There's a lot of options in convenience stores if you're a picky eater.
The weather is very hot so wear something light. But it usually rains in the evening (5-7PM) so make plan to stay inside around that time.

This was a terrible apartment. Not at all like the pictures.
This was a terrible apartment. Not at all like the pictures. It smelled damp, was dirty( floor, bench top, sofa had huge stains all over it), the bed linen was really bad quality, not cotton but horrible polyester, and they were dirty. I could smell they weren’t washed. There was only a handful of kitchen utensils and one fry pan. No tea or coffee provided or water (as in the photos). The fans didn’t work well. The single bed didn’t have a top sheet only an inner duvet.
There are signs all over the place saying ‘ no short term stays or Airbnb’ which it quite clearly was. These apartments are being rented out unlawfully by the agent, either renting out flats he owns or on behalf of other people.
It would seem like it’s a lottery what apartment you might get based on other reviews. Our apartment was extremely disappointing. Only the view was good.
This is a really nice aparthotel in a superb location near Bukit Bintang. The room is beautiful, with an amazing view and high speed wi-fi. The building is modern, with many pocket gardens with amazing views to the city. The pool in the last floor is awesome, as is the sky garden and the useful gym. The small store on the groundfloor with food and drinks is also super useful and open until 2AM.
This could be easily a 4/5 star review, however, there are some things lacking and that are not expected from a place with such nice amenities.
Service - Mr Felix was excellent. The check in and check out was smooth. Welcome entree brownies was amazing
Room - Hardly get connected room in many hotels in KL. But Ritz Carlton is giving the best option to
those parents who travelling with kids. The pillows and bed was comfortable. Love the rain shower and toiletteries set
Location - 5 minutes walking distance to Pavillion and Bukit Bintang. A bit traffic to access to hotel during rush hour
By far was the best luxury 5 stars hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Looking forward to come again
Great location, 10mins walk from KL Sentral station, monorail, and malls. Close to great restaurants. Can walk to KLCC, China Town, Little India.
Easy to get to from airport via Express Train to KL Sentral.
Good pool for afternoon swim, as half shaded from hot sun.
Air con in each of the 3 rooms.
Mini bar fridge and cooking plates for self catering (but why would you when so many cheap eats around the residence)
Price is very good compared to hotel stays and you get far more space for your money.
The hotel offers a good standard. Breakfast was very varied, recommendable. Rooms are good, some walls need painting, but absolutely good for the stay. The Chinese quarter is lively. Just opposite the hotel is PS-150, an interesting bar. If travelling by plane from the airport, I recommend taking the AirPort Express. The journey to KL Sentral takes only 30 minutes. From the station, either order a Grab taxi or take the metro. It is only one stop to the hotel.
The room was a bit small compared to other hotel's room. The bed was comfy enough and the facilities provided in the room was good. But upon check in, there are some dirt in the toilet that not being properly cleaned. The breakfast buffet also was pricey compared to other hotel (5 star hotel), that I have been before. The breakfast also had little choices compared to the other hotel, and nothing special during the breakfast.
As for the 1st timer like me to stay in this kind of hotel, it was really an excellent stay.. the view was completely stunned! The twin tower view was superb! As for the breakfast spread totally meet my expectation for this 5 star hotel! My family was really happy! Bilik selesa sgt! Lg stu winning point traders ni sbb ada free buggy services utk one way atau return ke KLCC.. nk berjalan pn okay since it was really close..
The hotel was a run dow, very old and, dirty and depressing. The stuff only did what you requested sth repeatedly.
i had extended my stay for on more night but they called three times to confirm that!!
Its extremly dirty. I stayed there because I was very busy and han no time fir searching hotels.
I just don't understand how such a hotel get 3 star rating. Because i would not give it even 1 star.
This is much closer to a 3 star hotel than a typical 4 or 5 star Hilton, but it's still a nice place to stay and for the price I paid ($33 USD per night) it's unbeatable. I was lucky enough to be on the 22nd floor facing the Petronas Towers, and my view was sensational. But given there are four sides to the building the odds are 75 percent against your getting this magnificent view.
We stayed for 3 nights and although the room & bathroom were compact, it was comfortable, modern, clean and well equipped, incl bar fridge, slippers & mini safe.
Breakfast is complimentary and has a decent spread and caters for both Western & Asian preferences.
The hotel is a reasonably short walk from the bustling, Bukit Bintang/Lot 10 area.
Convenient location at the bottom of Menara Tower. Two nearby metro / monorail stations. Bukit Bintang and Sentral station only 2 or 3 stops from the hotel.
Nice and rich International breakfast.
Good view on Menara and KLCC from the rooftop / pool.
Friendly and professional staff.
Small, but well equipped gym.
What i like about the Hotel although this is a budget hotel but they gave a 5 star service. From prompt response to my messages prior to our arrival to check in and check out were excellent. Staff are super friendly.
Location is superb.
Coffee and bottled water are provided
Traders is a wonderful hotel. very accommodating, we requested a smoking room late in the booking and were accommodated on a smoking floor. the room was cleaned each day while we were out, even on days when we were only out momentarily.
Good transit hotel very close the KL Sentral and the airport express. The room was clean and functional located in the Indian sector so plenty of good food options just a few minutes away. We left early so didn’t have breakfast.
The bed and the pillow soft n nice...
The family room spacius enough for family of 5..
Love the Indie Hotel... near bukit bintang n alor street but no sound from the bars nearby..
Great location, very convenient for travelling to and fro the KL airport using KLIA Express. The hotel is also linked to Nu Sentral mall which makes dining convenient.
