Right above a very loud karaoke bar...
The room had no furniture in it other than beds, not even a hook on the back of the door to hang clothes or a bin to put rubbish in. When we asked for the remote for the air conditioning the staff at reception questioned us and appeared confused as to why we would need it! The room smelt musty and the curtains and head boards had signs of mould. The bed sheets had stains on them and the blanket provided to sleep under left a lot to be desired. There was no hand soap in the shared bathrooms and we had to rent towels from reception. Breakfast consisted of bread, butter and jam and a toaster with tea and coffee, so provided you ate bread or toast you had the breakfast that was included in the room rate! The only fire exit on the 3rd floor was chained and padlocked which left only the main staircase as your exit. Throughout our stay there was no wifi and we were told by the reception staff that the router had been damaged in the bad weather, I know it rained but really! When we asked where the nearest Tourist information centre was they were unable to tell us, we found 1 diagonally across from reception and 30 seconds away! Although we had read about the noise from the music and were reminded of it upon arrival and agreed it would be ok. It is very loud and does have an impact on the ability to sleep regardless of time!
Near to city centre like gaya streets, and easy to access the town.Just 10 minutes by walking to philipines market. We really enjoy night life with the live band but is not recommended if you want to sleep early at night because the band perform till midnight
The aircond is not function very well
just aobe a loud karaoke playing music every night until 11.30 - 12:00
Poor facilities, no rubbish bin, no hanger and pole for hanging towel, room is small and we got bitten by bugs.
Cleanliness and poor facilities
The location, and the staff at the desk
Very noisy (not only noise from the street, but from other rooms), dangerous electric fixures in the room, room could use a coat of paint.
Dirty place, noisy, too expensibe for the prestation
just in the city center. Kind staff
Bad location above a pub with loud music until 2am. Rooms were just basic and breakfast just enough. Acceptable for short stays or for those on a budget trip.
